This year's ball was distinguished by its inclusion of group routines and standout solo acts, highlighting the diverse talents within the class. Hull Honeys graced the stage with their class routine to "Come Together", delivering a captivating performance that left the audience in awe. Solo acts by Von Yr Neez, Lady Venus, Violet Grace, Sugarboo, and Madam Kink further enriched the evening, each bringing their own interpretation of burlesque to the forefront with mesmerising techniques. Our annual Class Awards ceremony offered a golden opportunity to recognise and celebrate the individual achievements that have illuminated our path. Von Yr Neez, crowned Star of the Class 2023, demonstrated unparalleled passion and presence, enchanting us all with her dedication. Lady Venus, awarded Miss Dedicated 2023, epitomised commitment, her relentless effort and love for burlesque setting a glowing example. Meanwhile, Madam Kink, named Miss Most Improved 2023, showcased an inspiring evolution, her growth in skill and confidence a testament to the nurturing environment Hull Honeys provides. Each accolade, a symbol of hard work and personal development, reflects the essence of what makes Hull Honeys so special - a collective of diverse, empowering, and supportive individuals, each contributing to the tapestry of our shared legacy. Titty Topaz, taking the helm as the evening’s host, navigated the audience through a mesmerising journey of glitz, glam, and teasing delights. Highlights included Violet Grace and Sugarboo, whose acts not only captivated but also showcased the diversity and depth of talent within the Hull Honeys.
