The Heart Of Dance Beats A Celebration For A Cause…

The Dance Beats event epitomised Tesco's commitment to marking its centenary with more than just a celebration, it was a concerted effort to give back to the community through support for Cancer Research, the British Heart Foundation, and Diabetes UK.

By inviting the Goole Goddesses, Selby Sirens, and Selby Starlets, Tesco not only honoured its own legacy but also highlighted the vital role of communal spirit and collective generosity in addressing significant health challenges. This endeavour saw the fusion of entertainment and philanthropy, as each dance performance by Paris Chantilly's burlesque troupes transformed the Tesco superstore in Goole into a vibrant hub of joy, unity, and purposeful fundraising. Through Dance Beats, Tesco leveraged its centenary milestone to channel the energy and passion of local performers into a powerful vehicle for charitable support, underlining the retailer's ongoing commitment to the well-being of the communities it serves.

The customers of Tesco were a lovely crowd to entertain and it was lovely to see all the boys and girls who were watching joining in the fun with their mums while our ladies were dancing. We received lots of positive feedback about our burlesque class in Goole with new ladies coming to start the Goole Goddesses class on Monday night.
