The Magic Of Monday Evenings With Paris Chantilly And The Zoomets...

During this lockdown period, many of us have had to find new ways to stay connected and keep active. For me, Monday nights have become a highlight as I get to dance with my Zoomets in our burlesque class. The month of July brought us a fun and energetic routine set to the catchy tune of 'Candyman', leaving us all buzzing with excitement.

The Month Of July 'Candyman' Routine…

July's 'Candyman' routine turned out to be an exhilarating highlight for my Zoomets. The infectious beat and lively tempo of the song injected a burst of energy into our virtual sessions, making it impossible not to get swept up in the rhythm. As the beats resonated through our individual spaces, each of us found a new level of engagement and enthusiasm for the moves we were mastering together.

This routine wasn’t just about dancing, it was about embracing the joy and the escapism that comes with letting loose to a feel-good track. Observing the determination and zest with which everyone tackled the challenge was truly inspiring. Despite the virtual format, the vibrancy and the passion with which each Zoomet participated made it feel as though we were all dancing together in the same room. The ‘Candyman’ challenge, with its catchy tune, became more than just a dance routine; it was a testament to our collective resilience and our ability to find happiness in the moments we share, no matter how unconventional the setting may be.

Our Fitbits buzzed in unison, not just from the physical exertion but from the sheer joy that radiated through our virtual dance floor. Garden canes and hoover pipes were no longer mundane objects but became extensions of our dancers' personalities and performance styles.

Our Classes Are Reopening…

The anticipation of returning to our in-person classes is palpable amongst both myself and all my dedicated Zoomets. There's an undeniable allure to the idea of once again sharing the same physical space, where the synergy of our movements and the shared laughter can truly flourish without the constraints of a screen. As delightful as our virtual sessions have been, the unique energy that comes from direct interaction is irreplaceable. The collective enthusiasm for our impending reunion has been a beacon of hope during these challenging times, fostering a sense of excitement and optimism for the future.

The dates are marked in our calendars, the return to our beloved dance studio signifies more than just a shift in location. It marks a celebration of resilience, a testament to the strength of our community that has grown only stronger in the face of adversity. Our first class back is not just another class, it’s a homecoming, a gathering of friends and fellow dancers eager to rediscover the magic that comes from dancing side by side.

As we count down the days, the prospect of reuniting under one roof fills us with a sense of purpose and joy.
