A Night of Glamour Seduction and Burlesque Magic
The Burlesque With Paris Burlesque Ball took place on the 3rd of November at Drax Sports and Social Club, welcoming 240 guests into an evening of glamour, seduction, and unforgettable burlesque. From the moment the doors opened, the atmosphere was electric, charged with excitement and anticipation for a night that celebrated dedication, creativity, and the artistry of burlesque.
Behind the sparkle and stage lights lay weeks of meticulous preparation. Rehearsal studios had been filled with music, laughter, and determination as performers refined choreography, perfected costume reveals, and supported one another through every detail. Backstage on the night, feathers were fluffed, corsets laced, and final touches applied, all underscored by a sense of camaraderie that defines Burlesque With Paris. Nervous excitement blended with pride as performers prepared to step into the spotlight together.
The curtain rose to reveal the Selby Starlets, instantly captivating the audience in corsets, frilled shorts, and fishnet tights. Performing to But I Am A Good Girl, their routine balanced playful provocation with polished precision. Chairs and fans were used with confidence and flair, building towards a finale that saw tassels revealed to roaring applause. It was a bold and confident opening that set the tone for the evening ahead.
Lilly Rose followed, appearing in pristine white that hinted at innocence before effortlessly dismantling that illusion. Her performance unfolded with fluid splits, bump and grind floor work, and expert silk fan technique. The audience was drawn in by her control and presence, fully engaged as elegance gave way to provocative confidence.
Roxie Rocket from Featherstone Follies injected high energy into the room with her performance to The Greatest Show. Dressed in a striking show jacket and wielding a cane, her intricate footwork and dynamic choreography showcased both strength and showmanship. Each movement landed with precision, reminding the audience of the athleticism and creativity that burlesque demands.

Her ability to command the stage created an intimate connection with the audience, drawing them fully into her world.
Paris Chantilly transported the room to the Jazz Age with her Pearl De La Mere performance. Emerging from a giant clamshell adorned with a peach ostrich boa, she revealed a pearlised corset and shimmering tassels beneath. The climactic glitter pour cascaded across the stage, earning an almighty applause as she wove elegance, nostalgia, and spectacle into a breathtaking moment.
Khandie Khisses took the stage with undeniable power and charisma, delivering a high energy performance that pulsed through the room. Every move radiated confidence as she commanded attention with precision and flair. As the interval arrived, the audience buzzed with excitement, sharing reactions and anticipation for what was still to come. Glasses clinked, conversations flowed, and the shared sense of wonder lingered as guests prepared for the second half.
The return to the stage was marked by the arrival of the Waterloo Wonders from Liverpool. Performing to Welcome To Burlesque, they dazzled in corsets, boas, and sparkly fishnets. Their synchronised choreography blended classic burlesque with modern energy, creating a vibrant and joyful performance that lifted the room.
