The Burlesque With Paris Burlesque Ball returned for another unforgettable year on the 9th of November at Drax Sports and Social Club, welcoming 240 guests into a night of glamour, glitter, and unapologetic celebration of burlesque. From the moment guests arrived, anticipation filled the room as feathers, sequins, and corsets shimmered beneath the lights. This was a night built on dedication, creativity, and the shared love of performance.
In the weeks leading up to the show, rehearsal spaces had been alive with energy as performers perfected choreography, refined costume reveals, and supported one another through every step of the process. Backstage on the night itself, excitement mingled with nerves as glitter was applied, boas fluffed, and final checks made before stepping into the spotlight.
The evening was guided by the charismatic hosts, The Dream Girls, whose presence set the tone for a night filled with confidence and connection. As the opening music filled the room, the audience settled in, ready to be taken on a journey through the many faces of burlesque.
The Selby Sirens launched the night with a sultry performance to I Just Want To Make Love To You. Wearing corsets, ruffle shorts, fishnets, and patterned tights, they moved across the stage with confidence and cohesion.
