A Night of Delight Sparkle and Burlesque Celebration
The Revelry Of Tease returned on the 30th of March 2019, filling the Victoria Social Club in Goole with excitement as performers from Goole Goddesses, Featherstone Follies, Selby Sirens, and Selby Starlets prepared to take the stage. Hosted by the glamorous Pinkie T’Boo, the evening was a celebration of dedication, creativity, and the unmistakable magic of burlesque. The venue buzzed with anticipation as family, friends, and devoted supporters of Burlesque With Paris gathered to witness months of rehearsal and passion brought to life.
As conversations hummed and drinks were poured, the shared excitement in the room mirrored that of the performers backstage. This was more than a showcase, it was a milestone moment where confidence, courage, and artistry were about to be celebrated under the stage lights.
Host - Pinkie T’Boo
The night opened with the Featherstone Follies storming the stage to These Boots Are Made For Walking. Dressed in denim shorts, checked shirts, corsets, and boots, they delivered a powerful and sassy routine filled with confidence and attitude. Their commanding presence immediately ignited the room, earning enthusiastic applause and setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.
Lilly Rose of the Goole Goddesses followed with a mesmerising performance to God Is A Woman. Wearing a soft peach babydoll, she blended ballet inspired movement with strong bump and grind floor work. Her fluid splits and controlled transitions showcased both grace and power, culminating in a confident rise that brought the audience to loud applause.
Heather Ann Lace and Atomic Velvet from Selby Sirens took the stage with undeniable intensity for their performance to S&M. Clad in black leather corsets and hot pants, their backs initially turned to the audience, ties wrapped around their wrists, they built tension from the very first moment. Floggers were introduced with precision and authority, each movement exuding strength and control. Their performance was bold, provocative, and commanding, leaving the audience captivated.
Pink Champagne, Cinnamon Satin, and Havana Hepburn representing Selby Sirens and Selby Starlets brought glamour and playfulness to the stage with their performance to Sparkling Diamonds from Moulin Rouge. Shimmering dresses, black boas, and cheeky reveals filled the routine with sparkle and surprise. Pearls cascaded, rose petals fell, and ostrich fans swept the stage as their synchronised choreography created a dazzling moment of classic burlesque fantasy.
Phoenix Flame of the Goole Goddesses injected comedy and charm with her playful performance to Cleaning Windows. Dressed in brown overalls, she turned everyday window cleaning into a cheeky striptease filled with clever prop use and teasing reveals. Ending in bloomers and tassels with a cheeky flash of her bottom, her act had the audience laughing, cheering, and fully engaged.
Tempt L’Animal, Queen of Sinful Sorella, followed with a sultry bump and grind routine to Wanna Be. Wearing red lingerie beneath black fishnets and a sheer lace gown, she peeled away layers with confidence and control. Her powerful floor work and final reveal of sparkling pasties left the room buzzing, marking her performance as one of undeniable allure.
Coral Kisses of Featherstone Follies made her solo debut to Patricia The Stripper, gracing the stage with elegance and sass. Discarding her black boa, hat, gloves, and dress, she revealed a beautifully patterned bodysuit and tights beneath. Her expressive movements and confident stage presence drew warm applause, celebrating a strong and promising debut.
As the interval arrived, the Victoria Social Club filled with animated conversation as the audience shared favourite moments and anticipation for the second half continued to build. Laughter echoed through the venue as drinks were refreshed and excitement lingered in the air.
Grandma Licious of Selby Starlets opened the second half with a transformation that delighted the room. Beginning as a sweet elderly character complete with trolley and walking stick, her performance to Grandma We Love You soon transitioned into Man I Feel Like A Woman. Layers were shed to reveal a corset, ruffle shorts, and stockings, followed by the removal of wig, glasses, and hair cover. The audience roared with laughter and applause at the unexpected and joyful reveal.
Scarlett Valentine returned to the stage with her Cruella Deville inspired performance, marking her sixth appearance at a Burlesque With Paris show. Wrapped in a luxurious fur coat, she revealed a sparkly black dress before transitioning into red ruffle shorts, corset, and stockings. Her confident tease and commanding presence led to a bold pastie reveal that drew enthusiastic cheers.
Sinful Sorella returned as a group led by Temptress La Animal with their Cell Block Tango routine. Dressed in striking lady killer costumes, they delivered a powerful lip sync performance enhanced by clever prop work and sharp choreography. Their synchronisation and dramatic storytelling held the audience spellbound.
Roxie Rocket of Featherstone Follies lit up the stage to Roxie, wearing a sparkling dress that shimmered with every move. Her confident struts, precise footwork, and strong floor work showcased her signature sass, earning loud applause and admiration from the crowd.
Pixie Bella of Selby Starlets followed with a mischievous Joker and Harley Quinn inspired performance. Wearing a green wig and purple lace gown, pimp stick in hand, she commanded the stage with attitude and character. Layers were stripped away to reveal a leather corset and stockings, finishing with a bold tassel reveal that left the audience cheering.
Paris Chantilly closed the show with her Love Me Like You Do performance, delivering a masterclass in classic burlesque. Her jewel adorned costume glistened under the lights as she removed each layer with precision and poise. Using beige peacock fans, she crafted a mesmerising fan dance that concluded in a regal final pose, leaving the audience in awe.
As the evening came to an end, it was clear that The Revelry Of Tease was more than a showcase. It was a celebration of individuality, creativity, and the powerful sense of community that defines Burlesque With Paris. Performers and audience alike left buzzing with inspiration, already anticipating the magic that the next Revelry Of Tease would bring.
