I joined Burlesque With Paris in Goole on the first night it opened on the 5th of June 2017. I have tried other classes before but never felt excepted so when I saw Goole Goddesses burlesque class advertised I thought I would just try it and see what happens.

I have been part of Goole Goddesses for over 2 years now and I love it!

Why I Chose To Join Burlesque With Paris

I liked the idea of performing on stage and wanted to meet some new people in the area I live in. All of the ladies in my class are so lovely and we are all different sizes and ages but we encourage each other throughout each routine that we learn in class. It is really so much fun.

I have mixed with other ladies from other classes to which is really nice and there all so lovely. I have made so many friends since I started and I now see it as my burlesque family. I have met Khandie Khisses one of Paris’s friends and she was so nice, I did the workshop with Khandie which helped my confidence grow and love it when Khandie comes to our shows. I would be gutted and really upset if Paris stopped teaching and I really do hope she never stops and we always have each other and our classes.

Paris is amazing, she is so down to earth and fair but kind and very supportive. She has made me feel more confident than I ever have and always encourages me every step of the way. I wouldn’t want another instructor as she is just so nice and I have had other dance instructors before and they haven’t been like Paris at all. She simply is the best and everyone in our class loves her.

Joining Burlesque With Paris is the best thing I have ever done I have performed 3 solos, 2 group routines with all of the ladies in my class and I have taken the step of having a boudoir shoot which I would have never done before. I have taken lots of big steps and felt encouraged by Paris and all of the ladies from all of the class every step of the way. It really has been amazing and I would tell anyone whos looking at joining a burlesque class to do it. Come and join one of Paris’s classes am sure you will love it as we all do.

My Burlesque Name

I knew I wanted something with Lilly in it as I love the name and rose is the name of a flower that suits me down to a t so I just put them both together for my burlesque name Lilly Rose and I love it.

Class Routines

Rihanna S&M has been my most favourite routine with the floggers, it’s a fab routine and I really enjoyed learning it but I still enjoy all the routines we have done. I love dancing with silk fans they are my absolute favourite prop to dance with and you can do anything with them. I hate dancing with ostrich fans, I find them really difficult to use and no matter how hard I try to do the peacock with them I can’t so Paris has a little handheld pair now and I always try to dance with them instead of the ostrich fans.

Burlesque With Paris Shows

I love the shows, I love showing off and showing everyone what I can do. I love wearing all of my costumes and the fun I have choosing my costumes. They are the best nights are our show nights. I get nervous and shaky before I perform but I am always full of excitement and so proud of myself after each performance I do. God Is A Woman has been my favourite routine to perform to because it empowers and uplifts me and makes me feel good about myself.

My Most Empowering Moment

My most empowering moment was winning Miss Burlesque With Paris 2018 I had no idea and when I was called onto the stage I was crying. It was the most amazing moment in my life and I felt so loved and wanted by everyone who was there.

My Most Favourite Thing About Burlesque With Paris

I have lots of favourite things about Burlesque With Paris it’s hard not to. I have Paris who is the most amazing person and the best instructor I could ask for. All the ladies who are in my class and all of the other classes are just so lovely and really nice and I love the shows and wearing all the sexy costumes you can wear. I just love everything about being part of Burlesque With Paris.
