“Hi, my name is Nikki. Burlesque name is pink champagne. I'm going to two classes on a Wednesday night, from 7 to 9 in Selby.

I love going as it is a good way of meeting new people which you can have fun and laughter with.

When I first started, I didn't know anyone. Now I have friends, and some are like family.

Tina is a lovely teacher, and she will go over things and break down the dance until you feel that you have got the bit she is teaching, then we do it to music.

It is the best thing I have done for myself, and my mum has seen the change in me when she comes to the shows. X”
