The Glorious Return of Burlesque With Paris
The Burlesque With Paris Burlesque Ball made a triumphant return on 12th November 2021 at Drax Sports and Social Club, bringing together performers and burlesque lovers for a long-awaited night of glamour, tease, and celebration. With a packed audience and an incredible line-up from across the Burlesque With Paris community, the atmosphere was electric from the moment the doors opened.
In the weeks leading up to the Ball, excitement built as rehearsals intensified and costumes were perfected. Sequins were sewn, props rehearsed, and choreography refined, with performers sharing laughter, nerves, and anticipation backstage. This wasn’t just a show it was the revival of a much-loved Burlesque With Paris tradition.
Hosted by the fabulous Pinkie T’Boo, the Burlesque Ball opened with huge applause as the evening got underway.
Featherstone Foxes launched the night with Welcome To Burlesque, dressed in a vibrant mix of corsets, ruffle shorts and skirts, stockings, pop socks, and wigs. Their playful choreography featured rose petals and glove removals, instantly drawing the audience in and setting the tone for the night ahead.
From Selby Sirens, Delicious Denise and Bubblez Byzance brought exotic flair with a belly dance-inspired routine to Dum Tek Tek. Wearing shimmering costumes and using belly dance canes, their fluid hip work and precise timing captivated the room and earned enthusiastic applause.
Making her solo debut, Luscious Lizzie of Featherstone Follies performed to Cherry Pie. Wearing a black lace bodystocking with matching bra and knickers, she delivered a confident chair routine filled with bump and grind, finishing with a dramatic rose petal pour and a bold final pose.
Panda Sparkles and Miss Emerald Du Jour from Hull Honeys followed with a powerful duo to Pony. Dressed in green and black, their routine showcased strong bump-and-grind technique, with glove, skirt, and bra removals revealing tasteful pasties, earning loud cheers from the audience.
From Goole Goddesses, Femme Fatal mesmerised with Adiemus. Wearing a red and gold costume with a feather headdress, she rose gracefully from the floor, removed her gown to reveal gold beneath, introduced silk fans, and finished with a striking tassel reveal.
The Hull Honeys group Sugarboo, Atomic Storm, Amethyst Moonshine, and Cherry Noir delivered an elegant performance to Call Out My Name. Beginning in black gowns, each performer transitioned from solo moments into a unified routine using black ostrich fans, creating a polished and atmospheric group debut.
Lusty L’Amour from Featherstone Follies combined live vocals with burlesque flair in When You’re Good To Mama. Starting in a long black gown with gloves and boa, she stripped to reveal a sequined bra, corset, patterned tights, and ruffle bloomers, delighting the crowd with shimmies and bum rolls.
Coral Kisses, also of Featherstone Follies, followed with a glamorous Razzle Dazzle routine. Wearing purple and black, she teased with her boa, removed her blouse and gloves with precision, and finished in a confident final pose to strong applause.
Making her solo debut, Cupid Stunt charmed the audience with a festive Santa Baby routine. Dressed in red and white, complete with tinsel, gifts, and a chair routine, her playful performance brought humour and sparkle to the stage.
Goole Goddesses returned with All That Jazz, wearing shimmering black costumes. Strong leg lines, polished choreography, and confident stage presence, including debut performers, culminated in a bold gold tassel reveal, earning whistles and cheers.
Paris Chantilly closed the first half with Medusa Scorned and Feared. Beginning with a reverse striptease, she added costume layers before revealing a dramatic snake headdress and black and green light-up Isis wings, performing with precision, drama, and powerful storytelling.
As the audience headed to the bar, the venue buzzed with conversation, applause, and excitement, with anticipation high for the second half of the Burlesque Ball.
The second half opened strongly with Selby Sirens performing Bump and Grinds. Dressed in pink and black corsets with ruffle shorts, their synchronised choreography, glove peels, and boa work set an energetic tone.
Making her solo debut, Ruby Rose from Goole Goddesses and Doncaster Divas performed to To Be With You. Wearing a red devil costume and using pink ostrich fans, she delivered a confident and engaging routine that earned enthusiastic applause.
From Featherstone Foxes, Skarlet Fury and Busty Babycakes debuted with Dirrty. Wearing black and gold corsets, ruffle shorts, stockings, and boas, their cheeky chemistry and strong storytelling made this a standout duo performance.
Hull Honeys followed with a cinematic routine inspired by Pink Panther and James Bond. Wearing black coats, trilby hats, ties, and shirts, their suave striptease paid homage to classic spy glamour with a burlesque twist.
Featherstone Follies returned with Cell Block Tango, dressed in black and red corsets, gloves, stockings, and patterned tights. Their theatrical lip-syncing and character-driven choreography held the audience spellbound.
From Selby Sirens, Delicious Denise performed My Discarded Men. Starting with boa, gloves, and headdress, she stripped to reveal black and gold sequin tassel shorts before finishing with a spectacular gold Isis wings reveal.
Selby Starlets delivered a show-stopping group routine to But I Am A Good Girl. Featuring chair work, glove removals, petal pours, pink ostrich fans, and a dramatic tassel reveal, their polished choreography showcased classic burlesque at its best.
Jaja L’Amore from Featherstone Foxes followed with a dark and dramatic performance to Being Evil Has A Price. Using black Isis wings, audience interaction, and a transformation into a red costume with silk fans, her storytelling left a lasting impression.
Paris Chantilly returned with Falling For Love, combining Dream A Dream Of Me and When I Fall In Love. Wearing a cream marabou gown, white ostrich fans, and scattering rose petals, her romantic fan dance closed the evening with elegance and emotion.
Closing the show, Khandie Khisses delivered an unforgettable finale, beginning in a pink gorilla suit before stripping away layers with bold knee slides and commanding stage presence. Her performance was playful, powerful, and the perfect ending to the Burlesque Ball.
The Burlesque With Paris Burlesque Ball 2021 celebrated creativity, confidence, and community. Every performer brought their own magic to the stage, proving once again that Burlesque With Paris is home to extraordinary talent and unforgettable performances.
