Student Views - Von Yr Neez - Hull Honeys

Hi. My name is Vonni ...AKA  Von Yr Neez I joined Burlesque with Paris Hull Honeys in June 2021.

At 63 I am 1 of the oldest in Paris’s classes, certainly the oldest in Hull Honeys so with that and illnesses there are things I am unable to do due to mobility and memory.  Paris and the girls in the Honeys have never made an issue of this,  accepting my limitations without comment, and adapting where necessary.

I have been doing burlesque for a number of years (7/8) with a number of instructors (6/7) and this is the first year I have ever done a solo performance on stage... that is down to Paris. She is an amazing instructor.

Because she builds our confidence, breaking down the routines and explaining them until we get it. Because she believes we can do it we believe we can. 

Paris doesn't stop, no matter what she has going on outside of Burlesque With Paris she doesn't bring it to class.  Class is all about us. 

My class the Hull Honeys are a really nice friendly bunch of girls.  I was so nervous walking into class the first time but they made me feel welcome straight away... not an easy task.. I'm quite difficult to get to know and include, I'm naturally a quiet, shy person... although the girls would probably argue that point now.  That is down to Paris and the Hull Honeys. I wish I had found them earlier but they're stuck with me now.
