A Summer Journey Begins
July invites us to slow down, turn up the heat, and enjoy the journey. This month at Burlesque With Paris is all about glamour, confidence, and playful self-expression as we move deeper into the summer season.
Whether you’re a seasoned performer or completely new to burlesque, July offers a welcoming space to explore movement, creativity, and confidence. Expect empowering routines, supportive energy, and plenty of fabulous fun as we dance our way through summer together.
Term 5 Is Here
Term 5 runs from Monday the 1st of July through to Friday the 9th of August 2024, and this term’s routines are serving a delicious mix of classic glamour, bold energy, and show-stopping style.
Goole Goddesses, Featherstone Follies, Selby Sirens, Selby Starlets, and Hull Honeys are embracing Feather Fan Burlesque with “Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps.” Using luxurious ostrich feather fans, this routine is all about elegance, tease, and timeless showgirl glamour.
Hull Harlots and Doncaster Divas are stepping into cabaresque style with “All That Jazz,” featuring trilby hats and fringe skirts for a routine packed with attitude, rhythm, and classic cabaret flair.
Sugar Belles are diving into Neo Burlesque with “S&M,” using floggers to explore strength, confidence, and unapologetic self-expression.
Sugar Bombs are celebrating Classic Burlesque with “Welcome to Burlesque,” performing with boas and gloves to deliver a routine rich in elegance, character, and old-school showgirl charm.

Bubblelicious Workshop
This month we are running the Bubblelicious workshop on the 20th of July at D’Angelos Dance Academy in Hull. If you haven’t already booked your place now is the time to book...
“Balloon dances are so much fun, very tongue-in-cheek, and you can be as naughty as you want to be with it”
Balloons can be tricky to dance with and can be unpredictable. If they don’t want to stay attached they won’t, if they want to deflate or pop at the wrong time, they will. However, if you want to take a balloon dance on stage for a stage routine you are bound to get an amazing reaction from the audience and when they behave (and even when they don’t) they look fantastic.
Bubblelicious is a balloon popping workshop. You will have layers of balloons secured to yourself for you to shimmy, shake, and wobble, and then you will have the fun of popping them with the poppers that you will be dancing with to reveal yourself in all of your burlesque glory.
This fabulous fun workshop will teach you the art of balloon dancing. You will learn a fun routine where you will incorporate the techniques of dancing and balloon popping together. Once you have finished the routine you will have popped all of your balloons to reveal your glamorous beautiful self in all of your burlesque glory.

You will need lingerie you feel fabulous and comfortable in.

45 minutes preparation time.

Graduation Week
From Monday, the 22nd of July to Friday, the 26th of July, all of our classes will be celebrating Graduation Week.
This is a time to honour your achievements throughout Term 4, celebrate your progress, and feel proud of who you are and how far you’ve come. Graduation Week is about confidence, joy, and recognising every step of your burlesque journey.
