Goole Goddesses Commemorating Seven Sparkling Years Of Burlesque

Reflecting on a Year of Stunning Burlesque Achievements

The past year has been nothing short of spectacular for the Goole Goddesses. With unwavering dedication and enthusiasm, the class embraced a wide range of burlesque styles, each term offering new challenges and opportunities to grow in confidence and performance skill.

Throughout 2023, the Goddesses explored the playful glamour of Showgirl Burlesque with Candyman, incorporating belly dancing canes to add theatrical flair. This was followed by the bold energy of Broadway Burlesque, where All That Jazz came to life with trilby hats and fringe skirts, blending musical theatre with burlesque sass. The elegance of Classic Burlesque took centre stage with Love For Sale, using umbrellas to create intrigue and timeless tease, before the festive sparkle of Feather Fan Burlesque closed the year with It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas, performed with luxurious ostrich fans.

As the class moved into 2024, creativity continued to flourish. Neo Burlesque brought a modern edge with Come Together, using shirts and ties to explore attitude and storytelling. This was followed by Bellyesque with Cover Me In Sunshine, incorporating silk fans and fluid movement. The year pushed boundaries further with Neo Burlesque S&M, where floggers were used to embrace bold expression and fearless performance.

Each routine strengthened technique, confidence, and individuality, reflecting the passion and commitment that define the Goole Goddesses.

Highlights of the Burlesque Ball 2023

The Burlesque Ball, held on the 11th of November 2023 at Drax Sports and Social Club, was a glittering celebration of talent and teamwork. The Goole Goddesses delivered a captivating group performance to Love For Sale, showcasing polished choreography, elegance, and powerful stage presence. Their synchronisation and confidence held the audience spellbound and highlighted the strong bond within the class.

The evening was further elevated by standout performances from Pink Champagne, Ruby Rose, and Sambuca Storm, each bringing their own unique energy to the stage. The night culminated in a proud moment as the Goole Goddesses were awarded Best Class Performance, recognising not only the routine itself but the dedication, growth, and journey behind it.

Celebrating the Stars of Goole Goddesses

The Burlesque Ball also provided the perfect opportunity to celebrate individual achievements within the class. Star of the Class 2023 was awarded to Cherry Dynamite, recognising her commitment, confidence, and commanding stage presence. Miss Dedicated 2023 was presented to Sambuca Storm, honouring her relentless passion and consistent effort throughout the year. Miss Most Improved 2023 went to Miss Mono, celebrating her incredible growth and development as a performer.

These awards reflect the supportive, encouraging environment that defines the Goole Goddesses, where every journey is valued and celebrated.

Bubblelicious Balloon Workshop – Playful, Bold, and Unforgettable

March 2024 brought a burst of playful energy with the much-loved Bubblelicious Balloon Workshop. Set to the Lollipop routine, the evening was filled with laughter as Goddesses popped balloons with lollipops at just the right moments. The fun escalated so quickly that balloons ran out, but spirits remained high, proving that burlesque is as much about joy and connection as it is about performance.

This workshop perfectly captured the essence of the Goole Goddesses, creativity, playfulness, and shared laughter in a supportive space.

Cherry Dynamite Solo Performance - The Revelry Of Tease - 11th May 2024

The Revelry of Tease at Doncaster Little Theatre

The Goole Goddesses reached another milestone with their debut at Doncaster Little Theatre as part of The Revelry of Tease, produced by Paris Chantilly. The evening showcased the artistry and evolution of the class, with Cherry Dynamite delivering a standout performance that embodied the passion and confidence of the Goole Goddesses.

The atmosphere was electric, filled with applause, celebration, and a strong sense of community. This performance marked a proud chapter in the Goddesses’ journey and reinforced their growing presence within Burlesque With Paris.
