August invites us to savour the final stretch of summer with confidence, creativity, and a little extra sparkle. This month at Burlesque With Paris is all about turning up the glamour, celebrating self-expression, and embracing the empowering magic of burlesque.

Whether you’re completely new to dance or continuing your burlesque journey, August is the perfect time to step into the studio, explore movement, and reconnect with your inner showgirl in a welcoming and supportive space.


Girls On Film Week

From Monday, the 29th of July to Friday, the 2nd of August, all of our classes will be celebrating Girls On Film Week, marking the final week of Term 5.

This much-loved theme week is all about cinematic glamour, bold performance, and show-stopping confidence. It’s time to put on your burlesque finery, grab those dancing shoes, and become the glorious showgirls we know you all are.

Term 6 Begins

Term 6 runs from Monday, the 5th of August, through to Friday the 13th of September 2024, and this term’s routines are serving a rich mix of classic elegance, showgirl polish, and cabaret flair.

Goole Goddesses, Selby Starlets, and Doncaster Divas are embracing Classic Burlesque with “I Put a Spell on You,” using gloves and boas to create a routine filled with drama, elegance, and confident tease.

Selby Sirens, Hull Harlots, and Hull Honeys are stepping into Showgirl Burlesque with “Puttin’ on the Ritz,” performing with pimp sticks and trilby hats for a routine packed with polish, character, and classic showtime energy.

Featherstone Follies are returning to Classic Burlesque with “Feeling Good,” using organza boas to deliver a routine rich in confidence, grace, and expressive movement.

Sugar Belles are exploring Showgirl Burlesque with “But I Am a Good Girl,” using chairs, skirts, and gloves to create a playful, polished routine full of personality and stage presence.

Sugar Bombs are stepping into cabaresque style with “All That Jazz,” featuring fringe skirts and trilby hats for a routine filled with rhythm, attitude, and classic cabaret flair.
