This review was shared by Lollita Bon Bon, a member of the Hull Honeys class, who talks about the supportive atmosphere of burlesque classes with Burlesque with Paris and the confidence she gained from performing on stage for the first time.

“I am in Hull Honeys every Thursday evening, it’s an easy-going level of dance.

In my busy life, the time at burlesque is a time for me to be creative and celebrate dance. The other dancers are supportive and approachable. It’s a safe space to express myself and be creative.

My first show at Doncaster Little Theatre. I was nervous so much so. I could not put on my makeup as my hand was shaking. Bongi helped me, my makeup looked glamorous. I was filled with fear, I was worried that I would let the group down. It was a very uplifting experience overall, and to my surprise, I won the most improved dancer award.

Tina (Paris), the instructor, is full of enthusiasm. She is smart, funny, and brings her humour to each class. I love how Tina shares her skills in burlesque dance and leads each class at a steady pace. Tina has made a positive difference to all of the dancers.
