Burlesque Ball - Part 2 - 22nd November 2025

A Spectacle Of Sass, Sequins And Sensation At The Burlesque Ball Part 2…

The Burlesque With Paris Burlesque Ball Part 2 illuminated Doncaster Little Theatre on the 22nd of November, transforming the venue into a glittering realm of elegance, anticipation and pure showgirl magic. From the moment guests began to arrive, the atmosphere buzzed with excitement, sequins shimmered beneath the foyer lights, satin gowns swirled across the carpet, and joyful chatter filled every corner. This was not just a show; it was an experience guests had been eagerly waiting for.

Paris Chantilly greeted everyone personally at the door, offering her signature warmth and charm that immediately set the tone for the evening. Her presence made each guest feel welcomed into the heart of the Burlesque With Paris family. Behind the scenes, the heartbeat of the production stage manager, Cupid Stunt, moved with quiet precision, ensuring every prop, cue and costume change fell perfectly into place. Her dedication and professionalism allowed the night to flow effortlessly, and her impact was felt in every flawless transition.

Meanwhile, the extraordinary Khandie Photography worked her magic even before the curtain rose. With her camera in hand and her keen artistic eye, she captured the anticipation, the glitter, the expressions of excitement and the raw beauty of backstage preparations. Every moment from a performer adjusting a stocking seam to a final lipstick touch was immortalised through her lens, preserving the essence of the night long before the first step hit the stage.

As the audience settled into their seats, the theatre hushed, and the lights dimmed. A wave of anticipation swept through the room, the glitter, the feathers, the glamour… all waiting behind the curtain.

And then, in a burst of colour and theatrical enchantment, the incomparable Foo Foo Labelle made her entrance. Opening the evening with her dazzling rendition of “Be Our Guest,” she filled the stage with charisma, humour and undeniable star power. Her sparkling costume glittered beneath the lights as she danced and sang with effortless showmanship, inviting everyone to immerse themselves in the world of burlesque. With every note, she welcomed the audience deeper into the magic of the night. By the time she finished, the room was alive, electric, and ready for the extraordinary performances ahead.

With the stage now alight and the audience captivated, the evening flowed seamlessly into its first breathtaking act…

The show opened with the captivating Delicious Denise from Selby Sirens, who stepped into the spotlight with effortless charm. Beginning with her back turned, she created an air of intrigue before revealing her refined ensemble beneath a stylish coat. Dressed in long purple satin gloves and a glamorous costume that shimmered beautifully under the lights, she performed to A Man, A Mink and A Million by Ruth Wallis with irresistible playfulness. Her glove peels were slow and sultry, followed by the teasing removal of her scarf, top, and skirt to unveil a stunning purple lace body. The audience erupted in laughter and delight when she tossed fake money from her cleavage, finishing with a showgirl pose that earned her roaring applause.

Cherry Poppins from Selby Sirins followed next, gliding onto the stage in a black satin robe. Performing to Fire For You by Cannons, she exuded sensuality from the very first step. Her robe fell away to reveal a gorgeous black corset, matching knickers, and stockings as she teased the audience with elegant legwork and expressive movement. Her floor sequence was hypnotic, and her final reveal, removing her corset to show her tassels, sent the crowd into an enthusiastic uproar.

Then came the fierce and fearless Selby Sirens, Cherry Dynamite, Bubbles Byzance, Vanilla Silk, and Kitty L’Amour. Storming the stage to Another One Bites the Dust by Queen. Wearing sparkly shorts, bikini tops, trilby hats, and wielding pimp sticks, they delivered a bold and brilliant neo-burlesque routine. Their trilby hats flew into the audience before they showcased sharp footwork and high-energy formations. With a final flourish, their bikini tops came off, and their pimp sticks rose proudly in the air, drawing thunderous applause as they revealed their sparkly pasties.

A dramatic shift followed as Beltane Bette of Doncaster Divas arrived with her inventive reverse striptease to 7 O’Clock by The Quireboys. Beginning in a black corset and knickers, she slowly built her outfit onstage, sliding into a skirt, brushing her hair theatrically, singing into her hairbrush, adding lipstick, spritzing hairspray, slipping into long gloves, and finally shrugging into a leather jacket. She strutted offstage with comedic flair, earning loud appreciation for her clever twist on classic burlesque.

Lemon Sherbert of Selby Starlets added a silky, seductive touch with her purple silk fan routine to Something In Your Mouth by Nickelback. Dressed in a short black skirt, black bra, and delicate lace gloves, she glided across the stage with elegant ease. She set her fans down for two slow glove peels before removing her bra and taking up the fans again to tease the audience with expert timing, finishing with a reveal of her black tassels that earned warm applause.

Harley Queen and Phoenix Rose of Selby Starlets brought comedy, character and sensuality together in their storytelling routine. Beginning in white shirts, long black skirts and books balanced atop their heads, they demonstrated “how ladies should behave” to the gentle notes of the Antiques Roadshow theme. Then, to the explosive shift into You Can Leave Your Hat On by Tom Jones, the books tumbled off, and their transformation began. Their blouses and skirts slipped away to reveal striking red PVC lingerie, and their final red-tassel reveal drew a powerful cheer from the crowd and they both deservingly won Best Small Group Performance of the Night.

Sugarboo from Hull Harlots and instructor of the Sugar Belles followed with a fierce feline fantasy, dressed in her leopard-print bra, pants, suspender belt and stockings. Wrapping a whip around her body, she prowled and teased with dynamic floorwork and captivating confidence. Her glitter pour at the end shimmered under the lights, earning a joyous roar from the audience.

Violet Grace from Hull Harlots then took the stage with a smooth, sultry bump-and-grind routine to Boyfriend. Reclining at a table with her feet casually propped on top, she exuded cool authority in a black suit and crisp white shirt. One by one, she peeled away her jacket, tie, shirt and trousers to reveal lingerie and stockings beneath. Her final floor pose brought an explosive wave of applause.

The Selby Starlets returned once again with a sizzling group performance to Nasty Naughty Boy by Christina Aguilera. Scarlett Valentine, Lola Sparkles, Cherry Dynamite, Crystal California and Ginger Larue appeared in black jewelled lingerie with sumptuous pink-and-black boas. Their choreography was sensual and seamless, boas draped and curled across their bodies with expert technique. After teasing the audience with a chorus-line sequence, they cast their bras aside and tossed their boas high, finishing in a unified pose that earned a roaring ovation.

Closing the first half was the breathtaking Paris Chantilly. Floating across the stage to A Thousand Years, she moved with ethereal elegance, dressed in cream bra, corset, skirt and pants, and carrying soft white ostrich fans. A gentle sprinkle of feathers opened her routine, which flowed with serene, mesmerising grace. Behind her fans, she peeled away her skirt, corset and bra, rising into her tall peacock pose adorned with sparkling pasties. The audience was visibly moved, many near tears, and the applause that followed was thunderous and heartfelt.

During the interval, the theatre pulsed with excitement as audience members spilled into the bar and aisles, animatedly replaying their favourite moments from the spectacular first half. The air was thick with energy, laughter, glitter, chatter, and the lingering warmth of the performances they had just witnessed. Friends compared notes, strangers bonded over shared gasps and applause, and everywhere you listened, there was talk of glamour, seduction, humour, and show-stopping artistry. The anticipation for the second half grew by the minute, creating a delicious tension that filled every corner of Doncaster Little Theatre. When the house lights dimmed once more, the audience settled in with the wide-eyed expectation of a crowd hungry for even more enchantment.

The second half ignited with an explosion of attitude as Crystal California from Selby Starlets stormed onto the stage to Like A Bad Girl Should by The Cramps. Dressed in a black leather-look dress and wielding a glowing LED whip that she lassoed boldly above her head, she electrified the room the moment she appeared. Confidence radiated from her every step as she teased the audience with cheeky bum rolls and sultry glances, playing the “bad girl” with delicious abandon. When she tore away her dress to reveal striking black PVC lingerie and stockings, the crowd erupted. Her final reveal, removing her bra with wicked charm and showing her black tassels, sent the applause soaring through the theatre. It was a fierce, fiery opener that set the tone for the entire second half.

Harley Queen, Delicious Denise, Cherry Poppins and Amethyst Allure of Selby Sirens followed with a beautifully stylised group number to Please Mr Jailer from Cry Baby. Emerging in flowing black robes embroidered with their names, they built intrigue before slowly teasing the robes from their shoulders, a single, unified bum roll sending them to the floor. Revealing matching lingerie and long satin gloves beneath, they transitioned into a tight, elegant chorus line that blended sensuality with showgirl precision. Their glove peels were slow and seductive, each one drawing the audience deeper into the moment. Their final reveal, slipping off their bras to uncover colourful sparkling pasties, brought a wave of applause that shook the theatre. It was a stunning blend of glamour, unity and classic burlesque tease.

Lola Sparkles from Selby Starlets then delivered a masterclass in theatrical burlesque magic. Performing to It’s A Kind of Magic / Pink Pussycat, she appeared in a magician’s black jacket and top hat, holding the stage with playful mischief. She pulled a rabbit from her hat to the audience’s delight before approaching a giant hat placed centre stage. When she lifted it, a pink burlesque bunny tumbled out in a confetti explosion that made the whole room laugh with joy. As the music shifted, Lola peeled away her gloves, then her jacket, revealing a gorgeous pink babydoll. With a flourish, she donned her rabbit ears, wrapped her carrot boa around her body, and finished with a cheeky, dazzling pose. The applause thundered, celebrating one of her most charming performances to date.

Cherry Dynamite, representing both Selby Sirens and Selby Starlets, followed with a breathtaking fan dance to Guy What Takes His Time. Draped in a long black robe and holding sumptuous purple ostrich fans, she floated onto the stage like a vision. Behind the fans, her robe slipped away with sensual grace before she revealed dazzling purple pasties beneath her bra. Her fan technique was nothing short of exquisite, smooth, controlled, flirtatious and utterly mesmerising. She moved with the slow confidence of a woman who knows exactly how to captivate an audience. When she finished, the room erupted in cheers that echoed long after she stepped offstage.

Scarlett Valentine from Selby Starlets burst onto the stage next with an uproarious cowgirl fantasy set to Save A Horse (Ride A Cowboy) by Big & Rich. Dressed in cow-print chaps, an embroidered waistcoat and a red shirt, she made her entrance riding an inflatable horse that immediately had the audience giggling. One by one, her costume pieces came away: first the waistcoat, then the shirt, before she cheekily pulled money from her bra and tossed it into the crowd. Her glove peels were fiery, dragging the red gloves up her legs before lassoing them above her head in true cowgirl style. Her mischievous bum roll revealed her bumless chaps, and when she removed her bra and flicked it away with a lasso swing, the audience went wild. Removing her cowboy hat for her final reveal, she flashed her dazzling pasties to a roar of applause. A showstopper from start to finish.

Harley Queen, Phoenix Rose, Lemon Sherbert and Ruby Reckless then took to the stage representing Selby Starlets with a fierce, high-energy routine to Maneater by Nelly Furtado. In short black skirts and leather bomber jackets, they walked on with unshakeable attitude, radiating power and unity. Their choreography was crisp and provocative, packed with bum rolls, hip flicks, and bold, teasing chorus lines. With a dramatic flourish, they lassoed their jackets through the air before tossing them aside, followed by a series of sharp, stylish glove peels. Their spiked bras were removed one by one, revealing perfectly coordinated tassels. The applause was deafening, and it was no surprise they were crowned Best Class Performance of the Night.

Ginger Larue was next, and she delivered one of the most enchanting solos of the entire evening. Performing Dream A Little Dream Of Me, she stepped onto the stage in layers of soft, luxurious blue that made her look like a dream herself. Her performance was smooth, graceful and emotionally rich, each movement expressing longing, beauty and quiet confidence. She removed her gloves with gentle precision before letting her elegant gown drift to the floor. The layered bustle followed, revealing her sparkling corset, which she teased the audience with before slowly removing it to unveil glittering pasties. The audience rose in celebration of her artistry, and she deservingly won Best Solo Performance of the Night.

The Doncaster Divas Salacious Silk, Cinnamon Star, Beltane Bette and Vivacious Velma, who mesmerised the room with their haunting fan performance to Wolf & I by Oh Land. Dressed in pink and black costumes and carrying soft ostrich fans, they moved like a single entity, flowing across the stage with grace and unity. Their back-to-back Mexican wave formation drew gasps from the audience as the fans created rippling, hypnotic patterns in the light. Every turn and sweep of their choreography felt like a breath of cold moonlight. Their final group reveal, fans opening wide in a dramatic circle, earned an eruption of applause.

Vanilla Silk from Selby Sirens followed with a clever, comedic and seductive striptease to Hit The Road Jack by Ray Charles. She strutted onto the stage with a Stop/Go sign in hand, adding playful bum rolls before placing the sign in a cone. Wearing an orange work jacket, she slowly peeled it away to reveal her lingerie. She used her prop signs to hide and reveal with perfect timing, removing her bra behind one sign and using her hard hat to keep her pasties hidden until the final, cheeky reveal. The audience laughed, cheered and applauded in delight at her creativity and charm.

The finale of the night belonged to the Roulette Rogues Paris Chantilly, Cherry Dynamite, Scarlett Valentine, Violet Grace, Salacious Silk, Sugarboo, and Roxy Starr performing to Going Loco by The Four Tops. Dressed in grass skirts and pineapple sunglasses, they arrived juggling colourful beach balls like a tropical storm of pure joy. The beach balls were tossed playfully into the audience as the performers danced in perfect cheeky synchrony. Sunglasses came off first, then the grass skirts, then the bikini tops, each reveal met with louder cheers. With a celebratory burst, they tossed confetti high into the air and struck their final pose. The room ignited with applause, ending the show with laughter, colour and sheer burlesque joy.

The finale of Burlesque Ball Part 2 left a lasting impression on everyone who attended. As the curtain fell and the final cheers echoed through the theatre, the atmosphere brimmed with animated conversations and delighted reflections. Guests lingered in the aisles and foyer, excitedly reliving their favourite moments from an evening filled with breathtaking artistry, humour, sensuality and show-stopping confidence.
