A Night of Glamour, Glitter, and Show-Stopping Burlesque at Doncaster Little Theatre

Goole Goddesses, Featherstone Follies, Selby Sirens, Selby Starlets, Hull Harlots, and Doncaster Divas - Our Magnificent Performers of 2025

On Saturday, 24th May 2025, the historic Doncaster Little Theatre was transformed into a glittering palace of glamour, sensuality, and celebration, as The Revelry of Tease took centre stage. With 99 seats completely sold out, the theatre buzzed with anticipation as guests dressed to impress and settled in for a night of unforgettable burlesque magic.

Guiding the evening with unmatched wit, charm, and style was none other than the renowned Khandie Khisses. A star of the UK burlesque scene, Khandie brought flair, flirtation, and fabulous banter, expertly weaving between performances with her signature charisma. Whether hyping the crowd, poking fun with cheeky one-liners, or delivering heartfelt tributes to the art of tease, her stage presence ensured every moment felt intimate and electric. She wasn’t just a host—she was the thread that held the entire tapestry of the night together.

Capturing every shimmer, shimmy, and smouldering glance was the talented Grace Elkin, whose photography immortalised the essence of the night through her lens. With every flash, Grace captured both the performers’ artistry and the audience's adoration, ensuring this magical evening lives on.

Fifi Whispers, from Hull Harlots, opened the evening with a sultry ostrich fan routine to Fleetwood Mac’s Need Your Love So Bad. Dressed in an elegant red and black babydoll with long, glossy red gloves, she glided across the stage with regal control. Her glove peel was slow, teasing, and hypnotic. As the music soared, she introduced her fans—delicate and commanding in equal measure. Each flutter and flick of the feathers was precise, leaving the audience mesmerised. Fifi’s routine reminded us why the art of fan dancing is timeless.

Next, the sensational duo Harley Queen and Phoenix Rose of the Selby Starlets delivered a high-energy, comedic yet seductive take on Beyoncé’s Single Ladies. Arriving on stage in leopard print dressing gowns, hair turbans, and satin pink pyjamas, the pair began with a cheeky confetti pour using cocktail glasses. Incorporating signature Beyoncé moves, they soon ditched their turbans, flung off their robes, and pulled down their PJ bottoms for a cheeky bum flash. Their finale saw them rip open their pajama tops to reveal glittering pasties, earning them roaring applause and whistles of approval.

Returning to the stage with poise and glamour, Delicious Denise from the Selby Sirens wowed with her rendition of When You’re Good to Mama. Dressed in a luxurious deep red gown, she moved with the elegance of a silver screen star. Her ostrich fans framed her like wings before she discarded her gloves, each movement executed with a knowing smile. Her transformation revealed a belly-dance ensemble, complete with veil flourishes that brought a Middle Eastern flair to her burlesque. Denise captivated the room with every twist and hip sway.

Teasy Tash, also of the Selby Sirens, made her solo debut to Big Spender, and what a debut it was! Strutting on stage in black lingerie, a dramatic bustle, and a top hat, she channelled the glitz and sass of a classic Vegas showgirl. Her performance dripped with confidence, and her leg lines were fierce and sharp. The audience couldn’t get enough of her powerful presence and polished execution.

The ethereal Emerald Fuego from the Featherstone Follies took the stage next with Earned It by The Weeknd. Dressed in pristine white lingerie and wielding blue and white silk fans, she was a vision of sensuality and grace. Her fan work was fluid and soft, contrasting beautifully with the steamy soundtrack. Her elegance drew audible sighs from the crowd, and her poise left a lasting impression.

From rock to tease, Beltane Bette of the Doncaster Divas brought the drama with her dark and daring interpretation of Metallica’s Enter Sandman. The stage was set like a childhood bedroom—complete with blanket, teddy, and robe. She began lying down, eye mask in place, only to slowly rise and reveal a ravishing black-and-pink babydoll. Her transformation was theatrical and moody, culminating in a dramatic exit guided by her male stage partner. The audience erupted at her bold fusion of story and seduction.

Fellow Diva, Lady Fifi Redhead, followed with a gothic-glamorous performance to Peter Green’s Black Magic Woman. Dressed as a black bride, she prowled the stage with captivating hip rolls and veil manipulations. Her glove peel was luscious, each movement dripping with drama. When her skirt finally dropped, revealing divine curves and a masterful bum roll, the crowd ignited with howls of approval.

Draped in red, Vivienne Divine of Featherstone Follies gave us old Hollywood meets Moulin Rouge with her sultry rendition of You Were Mine by Patrik Chartol. Her long red gown billowed behind her, and when she dropped into floorwork, the theatre gasped. With her leg lines slicing through the air and her final pose locking eyes with the audience, she left everyone enchanted.

Lil Miss P, also from Featherstone Follies, brought the tease with a confetti splash and a pink-on-pink-on-pink fantasy set to Cry to Me. Her movements were cheeky and flirty, and her gown drop revealed a powder-pink babydoll underneath. She teased the crowd as she eventually revealed herself in sparkling pasties and matching pants, leaving pulses racing.

Closing the first half with energy and flair were the Roulette Rouges, performing Shake a Tail Feather. A group act of unstoppable sass, they shimmied and stripped in bold orange costumes. Gloves flew, bustles came off, and assels spun in synchrony before bras were flung and tassels twirled. Their final group pose brought the house down, ending the first part of the show with a literal bang.

As the curtains drew to a close on the first half of the show, the theatre was abuzz. Guests refilled drinks, swapped favourite moments, and speculated what the second half would bring. The atmosphere was electric with admiration and excitement.

Opening the second half with a bang was Vanilla Silk of the Selby Sirens. Performing a seductive chair routine to Believer by Imagine Dragons, she wore grey lingerie with a black beaded lace shirt. Her control and grace were hypnotic as she teased her way out of the shirt and bra, revealing flawless black tassels. Her strength and precision made for a powerful start.

Next up, Salacious Silk from the Doncaster Divas took us on a wild Western ride to Pink Pony Club. Dressed in a denim mini skirt, pink boob tube, tasselled gloves, and silver cowgirl hat, she stomped the stage with sass. Her striptease included clever concealment using her hat, culminating in a tassel-twirling finale that had everyone stomping in support.

Cherry Dynamite of the Goole Goddesses brought mad scientist meets seductress vibes with her act to Poison by Alice Cooper. Donning a lab coat and a table of potions, she shed layers to reveal a green and black babydoll and bustle. Her performance was theatrical, cheeky, and devilishly good, ending with dazzling sequin pasties and a triumphant bum flash.

A haunting beauty followed with Violet Grace from the Hull Harlots performing The Devil Wears Lace. Wrapped in black satin and massive wings, she stripped down to sheer red and bold lingerie. Her chair work was sultry and powerful, her strip elegant and deliberate. The crowd was mesmerised by her dramatic transformation and bold reveal.

Lola Sparkles, wearing many troupe hats, glided onto stage to Kylie Minogue’s On a Night Like This. Her ostrich fan dance shimmered with golden glamour. From the glove removal to a rose petal pour, her act was the epitome of classic burlesque. The audience held their breath for her final reveal and gave her the ovation she deserved.

Next, Bohemian Beauty tantalised the room with I Kissed a Girl by Katy Perry. Teasing behind a screen, she hinted at her dazzling figure before emerging in a pink sequin bodysuit. She peeled it off with flair and grace, whipping it across the stage with a lasso toss. The reveal? Tassels and a daring G-string. The crowd was on fire.

Injecting humour and whimsy were The Double D’s, Bella Diamond and Pixie Dust of the Goole Goddesses, with a hilarious balloon-pop routine to Splish Splash. Covered in balloons, they gleefully popped each other’s one by one, joined by a surprise rubber duck. Their cheeky, high-camp comedy had the audience in stitches and earned thunderous applause.

Sugarboo of the Hull Harlots brought brains and beauty in her act to Another Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd. She strutted in a pink graduation gown, wielding a cane with tricks galore. As the gown came off, her black lingerie beneath was revealed, and her floorwork left jaws dropped. Her final pose, unveiled in pasties, solidified her as a standout of the evening.

Finally, Paris Chantilly closed the night with her stunning performance to Love Me Like You Do. A queen of burlesque, Paris emerged in a jewelled masterpiece. With Isis wings, a feather boa, and impeccable timing, her strip was part performance, part storytelling. Each movement spoke of empowerment, grace, and seduction. Her final reveal, with fur cuffs and glittering fans, earned an echoing of applause. The perfect finale to an extraordinary night.

The Revelry of Tease came to a close, leaving behind glitter trails, smiling faces, and stories that will be retold for months. With performers who poured their hearts and talents onto the stage, and an audience who gave them every ounce of appreciation, the night was an absolute triumph.
