Celebrating four fabulous years, the Hull Harlots continue to shine as a bold and confident presence within the Burlesque With Paris community.

Over the past year, this dynamic class has grown in confidence, creativity, and stage presence, embracing every opportunity to explore new styles while supporting one another every step of the way. Their fourth year has been filled with powerful performances, artistic growth, and unforgettable moments both in class and on stage, strengthening the sense of unity and empowerment that defines the Hull Harlots.

A Year of Confidence, Creativity and Exploration

The Hull Harlots enjoyed a richly varied year of burlesque, with each term introducing new styles and challenges that allowed the dancers to develop their skills, confidence, and self-expression.

Term One began with Bellyesque as the Harlots learned Sway. Using silk fans, the class explored fluidity, grace, and controlled sensual movement, developing strength and precision while embracing expressive storytelling through dance.

Term Two shifted the focus to Neo Burlesque with Do You Wanna Touch. Incorporating chairs and shirts, this routine encouraged boldness, attitude, and contemporary flair, allowing the dancers to step into confident, empowered performance.

Term Three brought elegance and refinement with Feather Fan Burlesque and I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You. Using ostrich fans, the Harlots refined their timing, control, and fan technique, creating performances rich in grace and classic tease.

Term Four embraced Classic Burlesque glamour with Take My Love, Take Me. Featuring feather bustles and gloves, this routine celebrated timeless tease, musicality, and theatrical elegance, deepening the dancers connection to traditional burlesque style.

Term Five introduced high-energy sparkle with Showgirl Burlesque and Viva Las Vegas. Complete with sequin skirts and gloves, this routine brought sass, confidence, and show-stopping energy into the studio.

Term Six marked the much-loved Summer Sizzler term, offering a relaxed and playful approach. The class revisited favourite routines and performed one-night-only pieces, celebrating creativity, freedom, and the sheer joy of dance.

Term Seven focused on preparation for the Burlesque Ball with a striking Bellyesque routine to Babooshka. Rich in movement, storytelling, and visual impact, this performance allowed the Harlots to showcase strong ensemble work and expressive choreography.

Term Eight brought the year to a graceful close with a return to Feather Fan Burlesque and Winter Wonderland. Using ostrich fans, the dancers embraced seasonal elegance and flowing movement, providing a beautiful and polished conclusion to the year.

Each term brought new challenges and triumphs, with the Hull Harlots continuing to grow in confidence and performance quality while celebrating their individuality and collective strength.

A Captivating Night at The Revelry of Tease

The Hull Harlots delivered a mesmerising showcase at The Revelry of Tease, captivating the audience with performances that celebrated individuality, confidence, and the many faces of burlesque.

Opening the evening, Fifi Whispers enchanted the audience with a sultry ostrich fan routine to Need Your Love So Bad. Dressed in a striking red and black babydoll with long glossy red gloves, she commanded the stage with calm authority. Her slow, deliberate glove peel built anticipation before she introduced her fans, each precise flutter showcasing refined technique and timeless burlesque elegance.

Violet Grace followed with a hauntingly powerful performance to The Devil Wears Lace. Wrapped in flowing black satin and dramatic wings, she delivered dark elegance and intensity. As layers were stripped away to reveal bold red lingerie beneath, her controlled chair work and dramatic reveals held the audience completely captivated.

Sugarboo brought a clever blend of intelligence and allure to the stage with her performance to Another Brick in the Wall. Entering in a playful pink graduation gown and wielding a cane with confidence, she seamlessly blended character-driven storytelling with striking floorwork. Her bold final reveal and commanding presence earned enthusiastic applause and marked her as a standout of the evening.

Glamour, Seduction and Storytelling at the Burlesque Ball

The Hull Harlots returned to the stage at the Burlesque Ball with a spectacular lineup of solo and group performances filled with confidence, variety, and theatrical flair.

Fifi Whispers opened the show to Bossa Nova Baby, dazzling in a purple sequin tassel dress and long black gloves. Her polished glove peel, dramatic costume reveals, and joyful confetti pour set the tone for an unforgettable night.

Lady Venus brought cowgirl glamour to the stage with her confident routine to Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma. Dressed in denim shorts, a checkered shirt, and cowboy boots, she delivered sharp footwork and a commanding stage presence, earning enthusiastic applause.

Bongilicious enchanted the audience with a dark and cinematic performance to Black Leaves. Her slow, deliberate reveals, playful bum rolls, and expressive storytelling created a routine rich in atmosphere and allure.

Sugarboo returned with a fierce, feline-inspired act to Memory and Baker Street. Armed with a gold whip and clad in leopard print, she blended strength and sensuality with fluid floorwork, finishing with a shimmering glitter pour that thrilled the audience.

Violet Grace delivered a bold bump and grind routine to Boyfriend, peeling away a tailored suit to reveal elegant lingerie beneath. Her confident strip and dramatic final pose earned explosive applause.

The evening concluded with a stunning group performance to Babooshka, featuring Violet Grace, Lady Venus, Fifi Whispers, Bongilicious, Sugarboo, and Lollita Bon Bon. Dressed in vibrant belly dance costumes with flowing veils, the Hull Harlots created a mesmerising sea of colour and motion, their synchronised veil work and striking final pose bringing the audience to its feet.

Celebrating Dedication and Progress

The year came to a proud close with the Hull Harlots celebrating dedication and progress at the Class Awards 2025.

Star of the Class 2025 was awarded to Fifi Whispers for her commitment, growth, and strong presence within class. Miss Dedicated 2025 was presented to Lady Venus in recognition of her consistency and passion. Miss Most Improved 2025 was awarded to Lollita Bon Bon, celebrating her inspiring confidence and development.

These awards reflect the hard work, determination, and supportive spirit that define the Hull Harlots.
