“I joined Burlesque with Paris two years ago, looking for a class that would teach me confidence and let me meet new people and make friends. I’d seen an advert on Facebook and took the plunge.

Now I can’t dance, but this wasn’t a problem, Paris told me, and she was right!! She has so much passion, patience, and a love of teaching burlesque. It is a craft, and you are constantly learning and improving.

The classes are friendly, fun, and welcoming. All sizes, shapes, and personalities are welcome. I’ve loved every moment thus far of being part of this self-improvement journey, and my confidence has improved. I had a huge body image issue when I started, but I am now seeing myself in a positive light and am less critical of photos and videos, so that is a huge step forward.

I love going on stage, and I feel ready to do a solo this year. My best friend and I do a double act, and it’s absolutely fantastic. Hearing an audience shout, holler, laugh, and clap is the best thing ever!!!!! We all cheer each other on and push ourselves a bit further each time.

If you are debating whether to try these classes, just come along. What’s the worst that can happen? I guarantee you will love it!!!!”
