Seven Years of Style, Strength, and Sizzling Siren Energy

Celebrating seven sensational years, the Selby Sirens continue to be a powerful and passionate force within the Burlesque With Paris community.

Over the years, this incredible group has grown in confidence, creativity, and performance quality, embracing every opportunity to explore new styles while supporting one another every step of the way. Their journey is a testament to the magic that happens when empowerment, artistry, and community come together.

A Term by Term Journey of Burlesque Excellence

The Selby Sirens enjoyed a richly varied and creatively fulfilling year, with each term introducing new styles, techniques, and performance challenges that supported growth in confidence, versatility, and stage presence.

Term One began with a bold Neo Burlesque routine to Do You Wanna Touch. Incorporating chairs and shirts, this choreography encouraged fearless performance, strong attitude, and contemporary movement. The Sirens embraced powerful dynamics and confidence from the very start of the year, setting the tone for everything that followed.

Term Two saw the focus shift to elegance with Feather Fan Burlesque and I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You. Working with feather fans allowed the dancers to explore control, grace, and classic tease, bringing a beautifully refined quality to their movement and performance style.

Term Three delivered show-stopping glamour with Showgirl Burlesque and Putting On The Ritz. Armed with pimp sticks and trilby hats, the Sirens embraced classic showgirl styling, combining sharp footwork with playful character work and polished stage presence.

Term Four placed Classic Burlesque centre stage with Take My Love, Take Me. Featuring feather bustles and gloves, this routine celebrated timeless burlesque elegance, with a strong emphasis on tease, musicality, and theatrical sophistication.

Term 2 - I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You

Term Five brought the bright lights and bold energy of Viva Las Vegas to the studio. This high-energy Showgirl Burlesque routine featured sequin skirts and gloves and was packed with sparkle, sass, and confident showgirl charm.

Term Six marked the much-loved Summer Sizzler term, offering a more relaxed and playful approach. The Sirens revisited favourite routines from earlier in the year alongside one-night-only performances, celebrating creativity, freedom, and the joy of dance.

Term Seven focused on preparation for the Burlesque Ball, with the class splitting into two groups to showcase contrasting styles. One group delivered a fierce Neo Burlesque routine to Another One Bites the Dust using pimp sticks and trilby hats, while the second group embraced Classic Burlesque elegance in satin gowns embroidered with their burlesque names and long gloves. These performances highlighted the versatility and theatrical range of the Selby Sirens.

Term Eight brought the year to a graceful close with a return to Feather Fan Burlesque and the seasonal magic of Winter Wonderland. This routine blended elegant fan work with festive atmosphere, providing a fitting and polished conclusion to an incredible year of burlesque.

Where Elegance Meets the Revelry Of Tease

The Selby Sirens delivered unforgettable performances at The Revelry of Tease, each act showcasing confidence, individuality, and commanding stage presence.

Opening the second half with strength and precision, Vanilla Silk captivated the audience with a seductive chair routine to “Believer” by Imagine Dragons. Dressed in grey lingerie and a black beaded lace shirt, her controlled movements and powerful teasing strip revealed flawless black tassels, setting the tone for the rest of the show.

Cherry Dynamite followed with her signature mad scientist meets seductress energy in her performance to “Poison” by Alice Cooper. With a lab coat, bubbling potions, and theatrical flair, she peeled away layers to reveal a green and black babydoll and bustle, finishing with dazzling sequin pasties and a triumphant bum flash that had the audience roaring.

Returning with classic glamour, Delicious Denise mesmerised the crowd with her sultry rendition of “When You’re Good to Mama.” Draped in a deep red gown, her elegant ostrich fan work framed her beautifully before her transformation into a belly dance-inspired reveal, complete with veil flourishes and hypnotic hip movements that captivated the room.

A Decadent Celebration of Tease at the Burlesque Ball Part Two

The Selby Sirens shone brightly at the Burlesque Ball, delivering a night packed with glamour, humour, and powerful performances.

Delicious Denise opened the show with effortless charm to “A Man, A Mink and A Million” by Ruth Wallis. Beginning with her back to the audience, she teased with long purple satin gloves before revealing a stunning purple lace body. The playful moment of tossing fake money from her cleavage delighted the crowd and set the tone for the evening.

Cherry Poppins followed with a sultry performance to “Fire For You” by Cannons. Emerging in a black satin robe, she revealed a black corset, knickers, and stockings, captivating the audience with expressive movement, hypnotic floor work, and a triumphant tassel reveal.

The energy soared as Cherry Dynamite, Bubbles Byzance, Vanilla Silk, and Kitty L’Amour stormed the stage with a fierce neo-burlesque routine to “Another One Bites the Dust.” Sparkly shorts, bikini tops, trilby hats, and pimp sticks set the visual tone as their high-energy choreography culminated in a bold pasty reveal and thunderous applause.

A beautifully stylised group number followed, with Harley Queen, Delicious Denise, Cherry Poppins, and Amethyst Allure performing to “Please Mr Jailer” from Cry Baby. Emerging in embroidered black robes, they teased the audience with unified movements, slow glove peels, and a dramatic bra reveal that showcased elegance, unity, and classic burlesque allure.

Representing the Selby Sirens once again, Cherry Dynamite delivered a breathtaking fan dance to “Guy What Takes His Time.” Floating across the stage with purple ostrich fans, her smooth, controlled technique and confident presence left the audience utterly spellbound.

Closing the Selby Sirens’ performances, Vanilla Silk returned with a clever and comedic striptease to “Hit The Road Jack.” Using Stop/Go signs and a hard hat as playful props, she teased and revealed with impeccable timing, earning laughter, cheers, and enthusiastic applause for her creativity and charm.

Class Awards and Celebrations

The year came to a close with the Selby Sirens recognising the dedication and commitment shown in class at the Class Awards 2025. These awards celebrate the effort, consistency, and personal growth demonstrated throughout the year during weekly sessions.

Cherry Poppins was awarded Star of the Class 2025 for her continued enthusiasm, focus, and strong presence in class. Miss Dedicated 2025 was presented to Vanilla Silk in recognition of her reliability, hard work, and unwavering commitment to every session. Miss Most Improved 2025 was awarded to Kitty L’Amour, celebrating her noticeable growth, confidence, and progress within the class environment.

These awards honour the time, effort, and determination each performer brings to class, highlighting the supportive and encouraging spirit that defines the Selby Sirens.

Seven Years of Style, Strength and Sizzling Siren Energy

Seven years in, the Selby Sirens continue to radiate confidence, creativity, and irresistible stage presence. Their journey is one of growth, empowerment, and unwavering camaraderie, and their seventh year has been filled with bold routines, powerful performances, and unforgettable moments of tease.
