Burlesque With Paris Annual Show

It was finally here, the first of our Annual Shows at Drax Sports and Social Club 4th November. This was the night that was the start of something extraordinary, the start of something big and the start of all of our ladies from all of the classes coming together to create amazing things.

It was a small audience of 55 guests and they were all seated in their seats when the lights went out, the curtains were drawn back and Ginger Tarte stepped onto the stage to start our First Annual Show.

We had three lots of performances from our ladies from our classes, they were all ready, in their costumes and awaiting for their turn to step onto the stage.

The first to perform was Vera Rouge, Lola Lashes and La Curve from our Featherstone Follies class. They performed a group routine to Big Spender in lace bodies with hot pants. It was the first time they had ever performed on stage, they looked fabulous dancing with chairs and their sequin trilby hats. They made it look effortless and classy in their own unique style. The audience loved them and they finished with an almighty applause. Now our burlesque show had begun.

Next to step on stage was Scarlett Valentine from our Selby Starlets class. She performed solo for the first time to Welcome To Burlesque. She looked sassy in her fishnet tights, red lace shorts, rhinestoned corset, and bra. She was so nervous but she put on a show-stopping performance which was sensational and the audience roared with applause.

The last routine from our class routines was from the Goole Goddesses. We had two of our ladies who hadn’t decided on a name so they were called out onto the stage as the Goole Goddesses, and for the ones who had chosen names, Lilly Rose, Princess Amethyst, Emerald Mistress, and Tiger Lily took to take to the stage to perform their class routine. They performed a Christmas split routine starting with Santa Baby then going into Jingle Bell Rock. Their costumes were fabulous, red capes, corsets, babydolls, stockings, and tutus all in Christmas colours. They finished using polystyrene balls as snow and they went everywhere. It was a cheeky fun routine and the audience loved it and roared with applause.

It was then Paris Chantilly that performed her Love Me routine. Stepping onto the stage in her heavily jeweled costume, with her twirling skirt, translucent isis wings, fur cuffs, and gown. She removed all of her clothing piece by piece working with each piece before throwing it to the side, first, it was the gown, then the isis wings, then the twirling with her skirt ripping off her skirt panels to then playing with her fur cuffs. She finished with her beautiful beige peacock fans removing her heavily jeweled top to reveal her pasties. The room ignited and the audience roared with applause. All of the ladies from all of her classes had now seen her in her own style of burlesque as Paris Chantilly the performer.

As it was only a small show we decided to bring in some performers from the world of burlesque so all of our lovely ladies could see the differences in performances and performers. We had Cece Sinclair and Tawny Kay at our first show. The audience loved them both and so did all of the ladies from all of the classes. Cece Sinclair with her fabulous energetic seductive performances and Tawny Kay with her bump and grind performances.

The show was a hit and the audience was all full of cheer and smiles. Our ladies were ecstatic with their performances and were looking forward to the shows that would be coming along in the future.

We held our first class award ceremony with 3 awards for each of the classes. Star Of The Class, Miss Dedicated and Miss Progress. We also had Miss Star Of Burlesque With Paris 2017. It was a magical ending to a magnificent show.

Miss Star Of Burlesque With Paris 2017 Annual Show 4th November 2017

Our Featherstone show which was the second show of the two was on the 2nd December. Scarlett Valentine took to the stage once more with her Welcome To Burlesque routine and again the audience roared with applause. She was the only one out of all the classes and our ladies to perform at this show.

We used this show for a class night out to give all of our ladies a chance to get to know each other from all of the different classes. We also wanted our ladies to see a burlesque show as so many of them hadn’t been to one. We had performances from some of the best international performers in the UK. Khandie Khisses, Paris Chantilly, Tawny Kay, Rosy Cheeks, and Hamish Harf. We had the sensational tigeress Diva Hollywood host the show with her whip-cracking games.

The audience was on the edge of their seats, the room was filled with excitement and now they had all seen a burlesque show and not just any burlesque show…. It was a burlesque at it’s best burlesque show.

Both shows were a total success and all of our ladies were filled with excitement for the year ahead.
