A Night of Sparkle Confidence and Unapologetic Burlesque
The Revelry Of Tease was a night filled with sparkle, confidence, and unapologetic celebration of burlesque, taking place on the 11th of May at the Victoria Social Club in Goole. Hosted by the sensational Pinkie T’Boo, the evening showcased performances from the Goole Goddesses and Selby Starlets, with guest performers Sinful Sorella adding an extra layer of excitement. From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was charged with anticipation, the intimate venue glowing with low lighting and the buzz of excited conversation.
As the audience settled in, laughter and whispered excitement rippled through the room, building a sense of shared expectation. When Pinkie T’Boo took to the stage, her presence instantly lifted the energy, welcoming the crowd and setting the tone for a night that promised tease, glamour, and connection. It was clear from the outset that this was not just a show, but a shared journey into the heart of burlesque.
The evening opened with Scarlett Valentine of the Selby Starlets, who took command of the stage with her performance to Welcome To Burlesque. Dressed in a beautifully detailed corset and lace ruffle shorts, she wasted no time igniting the room. Her gown was removed with confident flair, rose petals cascading from her hands as she teased the audience with playful boa work and elegant movement. Each reveal was met with cheers, her performance capturing the essence of burlesque and setting the bar high for the night ahead.
Pink Champagne, Pixie Bella, and Tantalizing Topaz of the Selby Starlets followed with an energetic routine to Candyman. Wearing sculpted corsets, fishnet tights, and lacy shorts beneath sparkling garters, the trio delivered a perfectly synchronised cane routine filled with charm and precision. Their confidence radiated across the stage, the audience responding with roaring applause as they marked their place as exciting new talent within the Burlesque With Paris family.
Lilly Rose of the Goole Goddesses brought classic charm to the stage with her solo to Singing In The Rain. Despite an unexpected prop mishap when her umbrella failed, she turned the moment into playful brilliance, punctuating her routine with cheeky bum wiggles and infectious charisma. Dressed in a shimmering show jacket, corset, and lace shorts, she drew enthusiastic cheers for her ability to embrace the moment and shine regardless.
Grandma Licious of the Selby Starlets followed with a bold and unforgettable performance to Man I Feel Like A Woman. Beginning wrapped in a satin gown with her hair tucked into a towel, she teased the audience before revealing a corset, sequin tassel belt, and sparkling rhinestone trousers beneath. Her confident progression down to nipple tassels marked a powerful and empowering moment, earning loud applause and celebrating fearless self expression on stage.
Tempt La Animal then took centre stage with an electrifying performance to Chandelier. Wearing fishnet tights and a body suit, she moved with raw intensity and fluid control, incorporating a net prop that became an extension of her storytelling. Her splits and bump and grind floor work held the audience spellbound, the room erupting in applause as she closed a routine filled with emotion and technical brilliance.
Paris Chantilly followed with her Love Me routine, commanding the stage in a jewel adorned costume that shimmered beneath the lights. Isis wings fluttered around her as she revealed each layer with precision, her gown and wings removed as part of the choreography rather than simply a reveal. Skirt panels flew away as peacock fans were introduced, the feathers concealing and revealing in perfect rhythm. Her final moments, adorned only in pasties and fans, were met with rapturous applause as she closed the first half on a note of glamour and power.
As the interval arrived, the venue buzzed with conversation as guests refreshed their drinks and shared favourite moments, excitement building for what was still to come. Pinkie T’Boo returned to the stage to welcome everyone back, her energy reigniting the room as the second half began.
Sinful Sorella stormed the stage in tailored army inspired costumes for their routine to Salute. Using pimp sticks as props, they delivered a performance that blended sharp precision with sensual movement. Their synchronisation and commanding presence drew thunderous applause, setting a fierce tone for the second half of the show.
Princess Amethyst and Miss Tinkerbella of the Goole Goddesses made their stage debut with a confident performance to Feeling Good. Shimmering in sequined cover ups before revealing glittering bras and knickers, they transitioned into a playful and empowering routine filled with chemistry and charm. Their synchronised movement and joyful energy earned delighted cheers from the crowd.
Scarlett Valentine returned, this time adorned with radiant gold Isis wings for her performance to Bird Set Free. Wearing a purple sequined costume, she moved with grace and strength, unfolding her wings as if telling a story of liberation. Each pose and turn was met with enthusiastic applause, her performance resonating deeply with the audience.
Pixie Bella made a memorable debut with her burlesque cowgirl routine to Blue Jeans. Dressed in ripped denim shorts and a checked shirt, she brought swagger and playful confidence to the stage. Her performance balanced flirtation and control, leaving a strong impression and marking her as a performer to watch.
As the evening drew to a close, the sense of connection in the room was undeniable. Performers and audience alike shared in the joy of a night that celebrated individuality, creativity, and the power of burlesque. The Revelry Of Tease was more than a show, it was a collective celebration of artistry and community, leaving a lingering glow long after the lights dimmed.
To my beautiful Goole Goddesses and Selby Starlets, I am endlessly proud of each and every one of you. Seeing you shine on stage is one of the greatest joys of what I do, and you continue to inspire me with your dedication, individuality, and confidence.
