Happy 3rd Anniversary - Selby Starlets

Happy 3rd anniversary to my sassy Selby Starlets and Happy 3rd Birthday for Burlesque With Paris. It’s been another incredible year for the sassy starlets and another year of fun, shows, amazing routines, spectacular props, frilly knickers, and sparkling tassels.

We had our student showcase show in Goole on the 30th March 2019 at the Victoria Social Club. It was a magnificent show and Selby Starlets worked alongside the Featherstone Follies, Selby Sweethearts and Goole Goddesses to give the audience a night of spectacular entertainment burlesque style. We had solo performances from Selby Starlets Scarlett Valentine, Grandma Licious, Pixie Bella and a small group performance from Pink Champagne, Cinnamon Satin and Havana Hepburn from Selby Sweethearts. They were all bloody incredible and an absolute pleasure to watch. The show went down a storm and the audience said what a spectacular show it was and they all thoroughly enjoyed it.

In April 2019 we moved from River Mills Ballroom to Studio 18 to give us more space in class to dance in and everyone loved the new studio.

On the 10th May 2019 Pink Champagne and Cinnamon Satin performed at our first student showcase in Hull at Cleveland Club with Havanah Hepburn from Selby Sirens. The Starlets also performed their But I Am A Good Girl routine which was incredible and Scarlett Valentine took to the stage to perform solo with her Cruella Devil routine. It was a spectacular show and the audience loved it.

Some of our Starlets took part in the Tesco Dance Beats charity event. They worked alongside Goole Goddesses, and Selby Sirens and danced in the Tesco superstore in Goole on Friday night, on the 19th of July. Dance Beats is Tesco's biggest ever fundraiser to celebrate 100 years of Tesco. The money raised will go to their partner charities Cancer Research, British Heart Foundation, and Diabetes UK. It was a fabulous night and lots of fun and we thoroughly entertained all of the shoppers and had their children joining in with the dancing.

We moved studios again in October to give us more space to dance in. We moved to The Studios and this will be our final move and the Sirens home. Everyone loves the new venue and it definitely has everything we need.

We had our Annual Show on the 9th of November at Drax Social Club. We had some magnificent performances from our Starlets class. Grandma Licious, Pixie Bella, Scarlett Valentine, Cinnamon Satin, and Violet Vixen. They were all incredible and went down a storm with the audience. It was by far The Greatest Show we have done so far with 240 guests in the audience who said it was an incredible show to watch.

It has been an incredible year and all of the Selby Starlets should be so proud of everything they have accomplished this year and just because each and every one of them makes these classes so much fun and enjoyable for everyone who is in them.

If your wanting to come and join in the Selby Starlets class everyone is welcome. Our class is for ladies of all ages, shapes, sizes, and abilities, and just watch your confidence grow. It's amazing what you can learn about yourself and you will soon learn to be your own kind of beautiful!
