On the 6th of May, we were able to host our first Student Showcase Show since the Coronavirus Pandemic and it really was worth the wait. We hosted the show at the Girnhill Club in Featherstone. The show was absolutely incredible and all of our performers performed show-stopping performances that wowed our audience throughout the show.

It has been months of hard work for all of our performing stars from Goole Goddesses, Featherstone Follies, Featherstone Foxes, Selby Sirens, Selby Starlets, Hull Harlots, and Hull Honeys, and finally, their student showcase show was here.

All of our performers were filled will nerves and excitement as the function room in the Girnhill Club, was filled with their family, friends, and all of our Burlesque With Paris lovelies who had joined our classes but had not yet seen one of our shows.

The room was filled with excitement and chatter as everyone was waiting eagerly to watch and support our performing Goddesses, Follies, Foxes, Sirens, Starlets, Harlots, and Honeys.

The background music was faded, the lights were dimmed and our spectacular host of the evening Khandie Khisses stepped onto the stage to give her titillating introduction to the show. The audience roared with applause as Khandie Khisses worked her magic whilst our first performers of the evening were waiting nervously to hear their cue to step onto the stage. Then it happened Scarlett Vixen, Midnight Muse, and Miss Cocoa Noire were introduced and our Student Showcase Show had started.

Scarlett Vixen, Midnight Muse, and Miss Cocoa Noire took to the stage in their satin gowns opening the show in true burlesque style with their performance to Lust For Life. They started the night with a bang and came out to impress… and impress they did! They started their performance with one fan each, then their gowns were taken off to reveal their black and red lingerie then out came another fan each and they were fan dancing with two fans each. The audience went wild and the room echoed with applause and cheer as the performing group from Harlots and Honeys danced through their routine. They were sublime with elegant fan technique and what a way to start our student showcase show.

Next to take to the stage was Pink Champagne from Goole Goddesses, Selby Sirens, and Selby Starlets. She was dressed in her green peacock costume keeping her costume covered with her purple peacock fans. Her Tin Roof Blues music started and she stepped into the centre of the stage to begin her performance. The audience roared with applause as she danced through her routine twirling across the stage, with her spectacular leg lines and beautiful fan moves. What a spectacular first-time solo performance from Pink Champagne and the audience loved her.

It was then Femme Fatal from Goole Goddesses who took to the stage to perform to Dark Horse. She walked onto the stage in time with the music dressed in her Maleficent costume, the black fur coat came off and she was straight into her bump and grind performance. The audience was filled with excitement as she ripped off her pink skirt and dropped to the floor. She picked up a black boa and was full of tease then came some lip-syncing before she pulled out her purple silk pois. Her poi work was spectacular and in perfect time to the music, then the pois were thrown and off came her bra as she finished her performance. What a spectacular performance from Femme Fatal and the room ignited with applause as she left the stage.

Delicious Denise was next to take to the stage from Selby Sirens performing her performance to My Discarded Men. The music started and Delicious Denise danced her way through her performance with her cheeky style showing the audience to expect the unexpected, she teased the audience with her pink boa then off came the gloves, the boa was thrown leaving her to remove her corset and skirt to reveal her beautiful sequin bra and skirt. Then she slipped into her gold isis wings for a spectacular finish to her performance. The room ignited with an array of applause for one of our Sassy Sirens.

It was then Ruby July and Lucretia Velvet with their performance to I Wanna Be Your Slave who stepped onto the stage. The music started and they were in full swing with Ruby July dressed as the joker and Lucretia Velvet dresses in red. A magnificent performance from two of our beautiful Foxes, and their first-time double act performance. The audience was thrilled, the room ignited full of applause and cheer and she left the audience full of excitement ready for our next performer to take to the stage.

Next, it was Peaches LaMore from Goole Goddesses who took to the stage to beguile our audience with her performance to I Wanna Be Evil. She was dressed in a long satin gown and sat on a chair as the music started she began with lip-syncing, the music changed tempo, and Peaches LaMore gave the audience every reason to make lots of noise. The gown was off to reveal her ravishing bra, stockings, and tassel pants, then off came one stocking, then the other with some cheeky chair work in between. Then out came her silk fans, her bra was off and she finished her performance with a spectacular silk fan dance. I think a cold shower would have come in handy for some of our audience as she had their blood pumping with every movement she made and as she finished her performance the room ignited with an almighty applause.

It was then two of our Hull Honeys Kitty Darling and Lady Demure who were next to take centre stage with their performance to My Baby Just Cares For Me. Dressed to impress in their black knickers, black corsets with red bras, black fishnets, and red shoes they really did look picture perfect. The music started and they danced through their tongue and cheek routine with black boas, their boa technique was exquisite. They received an array of applause from our audience as they finished their performance. Their first time on stage with their double and what a magnificent performance it was.

Our last performance for the first half was Southern Comfort from Featherstone Foxes with her performance to Hanky Panky. She took centre stage and when the music started she was in full swing, dressed in a black skirt, corset and patterned tights she looked absolutely divine. There was bum rolls, lip-syncing and plenty of grinding throughout her performance. Her first time solo and what a spectacular performance it was with lots of cheer, whistles and applause from our audience. They absolutely loved her and what a magnificent finish to the first half of the show.

It was then time to give the audience a chance to catch their breath, and refill their glasses. The atmosphere was incredible and everyone was full of chatter and excitement. The music was faded, the lights were dimmed and all of our audience were sat in their seats waiting for the second half of the show to begin. Khandie Khisses returned to the stage and the second half of the show had begun.

Before our first performer was called onto the stage we had two of our audience members Ivan and Guy who wanted to try some Boylesque, so with the help of Khandie Khisses, two black boas, the latest fridge review, and the 5-year guarantee we had our very own Boylesque performance take to the stage. They did a magnificent job of showing the audience how to open their fridge doors, then there were their salad boxes, and finishing with their 5-year guarantee. Everyone loved our Boylesque Superstars and they received an almighty applause as they left the stage.

It was then Heather Ann Lace who took to the stage dressed in a cute pink dress, and pink cardigan with a giant lollipop as she started her performance to a music mash-up My Boy Lollipop/Tainted Love. She looked so sweet and adorable as she skipped around the stage and played with her lollipop, then the music changed and the sweet adorable Heather Ann Lace disappeared with all the pink, and here was this sexy dominatrix performer dressed in black with black knickers, black corset, and a black flogger. The audience went wild and so did Heather Ann Lace, then the corset was off and she finished her performance with her black ostrich fans. An absolutely explosive performance from one of our Sassy Sirens and the audience were left wanting more.

Next to take to the stage was our very own Marylin Monroe Holli Daze from Hull Harlots performing solo for the first time to I Wanna Be Loved By You. Dressed in her pink tassel skirt, pink bra, and white gloves with a white stole she looked exquisite from head to foot. The music started and Holli Daze allured our audience throughout her performance with her lip-syncing performance, first removing her stole then her gloves, then last to come off was her bra to reveal her pasties. A spectacular first-time solo from one of our Heartthrob Harlots and OMG did she wow our audience and received an array of applause as she left the stage.

It was then one of our Selby Starlets Emerald Divine who was next to take to the stage with her first-time solo to La Vie En Rose. She looked incredible, dressed in her black corset, black and gold skirt with black fishnet tights, and shoes to match. If that wasn’t enough she had the most exquisite gold fans then the music started and she was in full swing, moving in perfect time to the music with her show stopping performance which had everything you would want to see in a burlesque performance. She beguiled the audience from start to finish throughout her performance and the room echoed with applause for Emerald Divine as she left the stage.

Next, it was Femme Fatal who returned to the stage for her second performance of the evening to River. She started with her back to the audience leaning on a chair and when the music started she exploded through her performance which was full of energy and striptease. Femme Fatal looked like a showgirl superstar on the stage as she removed her blue jacket, sequin gloves, and pink skirt to reveal her white bodice. She looked incredible and her performance had everything you could hope to see, spectacular chair technique full of bump and grind with beautiful leg lines and lots of floor work. The audience came to life and cheered with applause for one of our Gorgeous Goddesses as she finished her performance.

Evil really had entered the building and she was there dressed all in black, she even came off the stage to let the audience know just how evil she was! The audience cheered with applause as she returned to the stage, then the isis wings went up and she ripped off her dress, and her boots, behind her isis wings before she revealed herself all in red. She finished her performance with her red silk fans before dropping to the floor to finish. A magnificent performance from one of our Sassy Sirens and the audience was enthralled and filled the room with echoing applause.

It was then Lucious Lizzie from Featherstone Follies who was next to take to the stage to perform to Black Velvet. She looked edible standing on the stage dressed in black with her elegant knee-length dress and long black gloves. The music started and Lucious Lizzie captured the hearts of all our audience with her captivating performance and as always the bum rolls… What can I say she is the Queen of the Bum Rolls and the audience cheered with applause throughout her tongue and cheek striptease routine. First came of the gloves which were full of tease and play, then the dress to reveal Lucious Lizzie in a black corset, knickers, and stockings. A seductive performance performed by one of our Fabulous Follies who left our audience wanting more…
