Student Review

“I joined Hull Harlots around April last year, not knowing what I was letting myself in for or what to expect.

When I arrived for my first class, I was greeted by Tina (Class Teacher) and the rest of the group, who made me very welcome and at ease straight away. Everyone is supportive of each other and offers a helping hand when/if needed at any time. I can honestly say I love dancing with my burlesque ladies and never thought I would be brave enough after 7 months to do a dance routine on stage in front of an audience. It was one of the best things I've ever done. The group is a great confidence booster, and it doesn't matter what shape or size you are, love who you are. Burlesque is for everyone and so much fun.

As for our lovely Dance Teacher Tina, she is very good at what she does, teaching us our dance routines in small sections at a time, always ensuring we understand the moves and giving us lots of encouragement and help until we are confident with the routine, and not forgetting we all have fun and a few laughs along the way.

I would also like to say Tina is kind, caring, and supportive of our group and goes above and beyond to help us all should we need it.
