A Night to Remember The Burlesque Ball Show

The Burlesque Ball Show at Drax Sports and Social Club was a defining moment for the Doncaster Divas. Stepping onto the stage in front of a live audience, the performers showcased just how far they had come. The atmosphere was electric as each act was met with enthusiastic applause and support.

The class routine to Wolf and I was a standout moment, captivating the audience with dramatic choreography and stunning ostrich fan work. Solo and double performances from Crimson Babydoll, She She La Play, Salacious Silk, Dolly Moonshine, and Ruby Rose brought variety, personality, and powerful storytelling to the stage. Each performance reflected courage, dedication, and the joy of embracing burlesque fully.

This unforgettable evening celebrated not only performance but also personal triumphs, marking a proud milestone in the Doncaster Divas journey.

Celebrating Our Stars Class Awards and Accolades

The first year of Doncaster Divas was crowned with well-deserved class awards recognising individual growth and dedication. Crimson Babydoll was named Star of the Class 2022, celebrating her commitment, stage presence, and passion. Salacious Silk received Miss Dedicated 2022 for her consistency, determination, and hard work throughout the year. She She La Play was awarded Miss Most Improved 2022, honouring her incredible transformation in confidence and performance.

These awards highlighted not only individual achievements but also the supportive and empowering environment that defines Doncaster Divas.

Our Year in Routines Feathers Fans and Fabulousness

Throughout the year, Doncaster Divas explored a variety of burlesque styles and routines, each bringing new challenges and opportunities to shine. From the classic glamour of Welcome to Burlesque with gloves and boas, to the playful tease of Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps with ostrich fans, each routine added depth to the group’s growing repertoire.

The class also embraced the high energy flair of All That Jazz with trilby hats and fringe skirts, and delivered a powerful Burlesque Ball performance to Wolf and I using ostrich fans. A festive routine to It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas rounded out the year with sparkle and seasonal charm.

These routines not only developed technical skill but also strengthened the bonds between the dancers, creating memories that extend far beyond the studio.
