Seven spectacular years of the Featherstone Follies, and what an extraordinary journey it has been.

From their first steps into the world of burlesque to the confident and commanding performers they are today, the Featherstone Follies have become a shining and much-loved part of the Burlesque With Paris community. Known for their fearless creativity, powerful performances, and unwavering support for one another, this incredible group continues to grow in confidence, artistry, and stage presence with every passing year.

Term 5 2024 - Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps

A Journey Through Style, Skill and Performance

The Featherstone Follies have enjoyed a richly varied and creatively fulfilling journey through burlesque, with each term introducing new styles, techniques, and performance challenges that have strengthened both confidence and artistic expression.

Term Four of 2024 opened the year with the sparkle and precision of Showgirl Burlesque in Showtime Hustle. Featuring gloves and sequin skirts, this routine embraced classic showgirl flair, sharp movement, and polished performance quality.

Term Five shifted into the elegance of Feather Fan Burlesque with Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps. Working with feather fans, the dancers refined control, timing, and graceful tease, creating routines rich in sophistication and classic burlesque charm.

Term Six brought Classic Burlesque to the forefront with Feeling Good. Using flowing organza boas, this routine allowed the dancers to explore drama, sensuality, and expressive movement, deepening their connection to musicality and storytelling.

Term Seven focused on preparation for the Burlesque Ball with two striking routines. Feather Fan Burlesque Dream A Little Dream, performed with ostrich fans, showcased elegance and synchronisation, while Classic Burlesque The Wonderful In You, featuring bump skirts and gloves, delivered timeless glamour and theatrical flair.

Term Eight of 2024 closed the year with festive Showgirl Burlesque Holly Jolly Christmas. Gloves and Santa hats brought sparkle, joy, and seasonal charm, finishing the year with warmth and playful energy.

Moving into 2025, the Featherstone Follies embraced bold new creative directions. Term One introduced Neo Burlesque with Do You Wanna Touch, incorporating chairs and shirts to explore confidence, attitude, and contemporary movement.

Term Two delved into Bellyesque with Sway, using silk fans to blend fluidity, sensual control, and expressive movement.

Feather Fan Burlesque returned in Term Three with I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You. Working with ostrich fans, the dancers focused on elegance, emotional connection, and refined fan technique.

The journey continued in Term Four with Classic Burlesque Take My Love, Take Me. Featuring feather bustles and gloves, this routine celebrated timeless burlesque sophistication, strong ensemble work, and polished stage presence.

Each term allowed the Featherstone Follies to expand their skills, embrace new challenges, and celebrate the joy of performance.

A Powerful Showcase at The Revelry of Tease

The Featherstone Follies delivered an unforgettable showcase at The Revelry of Tease, filling the stage with bold storytelling, striking visuals, and commanding performances that celebrated the full spectrum of burlesque artistry.

Making her solo debut, Lulu Lunacy burst onto the stage with unstoppable energy to Beer Never Broke My Heart. Dressed in a vibrant red corset and trousers with a dramatic black and gold boa, she combined powerful high kicks with classic bump and grind floorwork. Her infectious enthusiasm and confident presence earned roaring applause and marked a truly electric debut.

Ivy Jac transformed the stage into an ivy-covered fantasy with her solo debut to Love Is A Game. Cloaked in rich shades of green, she blended intricate chairwork with beautifully paced reveals. Each movement felt deliberate and symbolic, culminating in a striking reveal of ivy pasties that left the audience spellbound.

Vivienne Divine delivered a masterclass in restraint and elegance with her chair routine to Oops I Did It Again. Draped in a long cream gown and natural stockings, her performance focused on the journey rather than the destination. Slow glove peels and graceful costume reveals showcased classic burlesque sophistication and exquisite control.

Closing the first half with undeniable power, Big Red commanded the stage with Chokehold. Dressed in fishnets, towering heels, and a sleek black jacket, her chair routine fused traditional bump and grind technique with a modern edge. Each confident reveal reinforced her commanding presence, leaving the audience enthralled.

Lulu Lunacy Solo Performance - The Revelry Of Tease - 11th May 2024

The second half continued with a striking solo from Bohemian Beauty to Girl With One Eye. Her black ensemble and flowing fabrics framed a performance rich in intensity and storytelling. Using a handheld fan for her final reveal, she demonstrated impeccable tease and emotional depth.

Lola Sparkles brought humour and narrative charm with her playful performance to I Should Be So Lucky. Armed with oversized props including an inflatable love heart, picture frame, and giant phone, she told a whimsical story of romance and reality that unfolded with each reveal, ending in sparkling pasties and delighted applause.

Roxy Starr ignited the stage with rock-inspired energy in Pour Some Sugar On Me. Dressed in black lace, she fused chair work with a dramatic confetti cascade, delivering a high-impact performance packed with attitude and allure.

Rounding out the Featherstone Follies performances, Emerald Fuego dazzled with a high-energy showgirl routine to Confident. With sharp kicks, slick cane tricks, and powerful floorwork, she celebrated confidence, femininity, and show-stopping burlesque glamour with effortless charisma.

Together, the Featherstone Follies delivered a showcase that was bold, imaginative, and unforgettable.

An Evening of Exquisite Tease at the Burlesque Ball

The Featherstone Follies delivered an extraordinary showcase at the Burlesque Ball, filling Part One of the evening with confidence, creativity, and unforgettable burlesque artistry.

The night opened with an electrifying duet from Cindy Galore and Divine Desire to I See Red. Draped in elegant black gowns and long satin gloves, their flawless synchronisation and smouldering chemistry drew the audience fully into their world. Slow glove peels heightened anticipation before the dramatic reveal of red babydolls and black stockings.

A striking group performance followed to The Wonderful In You, featuring Roxy Starr, Lulu Lunacy, Emerald Fuego, Emperatrix, Belladonna Storm, Ivy Jac, and Valentina Velour. Beginning with their backs to the audience, they moved in perfect unison, building toward dramatic bump skirt flicks, elegant glove removals, and glittering pasty reveals met with thunderous applause.

Solo performances added depth and individuality throughout the evening. Coral Kisses mesmerised with I Just Want To Make Love To You, delivering seductive hip bumps, smooth bum rolls, and commanding showgirl lines. Bohemian Beauty followed with a playful and sensual performance to I Touch Myself, tossing white feathers into the air and building to a tantalising reveal.

Lola Sparkles lit up the stage with Pink, teasing the audience with elegant glove removals, sultry bum rolls, and playful bustle work. As rose petals cascaded during her bra removal, the performance reached a dramatic peak.

Making her solo debut, L’ll Miss P delivered a joyful and confident performance to Sir Duke. Using her brother as a playful prop, she blended humour, sass, and polished burlesque technique, earning explosive applause.

Emerald Fuego Solo Performance - The Burlesque Ball - Part 1 - 9th November 2024

Ivy Jac returned with a bold and avant-garde performance to Earl. Beginning at a table with a chopping board, her robotic movements, inventive prop use, and fluid floorwork showcased her creativity and control.

High energy showmanship followed as Emerald Fuego performed to Scream, delivering fast-paced choreography, playful hip bumps, and a confident pasty reveal that brought the audience to their feet.

The Featherstone Follies also delivered a breathtaking group ostrich fan routine to Dream A Little Dream Of Me. Shrouded behind their fans, the group moved in flawless synchronisation, balancing concealment and reveal with mesmerising precision.

The evening concluded with unforgettable fan performances. Roxy Starr mesmerised with illuminated silk fans in Wicked Game, while Luna Lunacy closed the night with a bold Lady Liberty-inspired performance to Naked In Manhattan, complete with confetti cannons, dramatic reveals, jaw-dropping splits, and powerful tassel work.

Together, the Featherstone Follies brought daring, elegance, and fearless creativity to the Burlesque Ball.

Celebrating Dedication, Growth, and Achievement

The year came to a celebratory close with recognition at the Class Awards 2024.

Miss Star of Burlesque With Paris 2024 was awarded to Lola Sparkles in recognition of her outstanding presence and continued excellence. Star of the Class 2024 was presented to L’ll Miss P for her enthusiasm, effort, and consistency. Miss Dedicated 2024 was awarded to Cindy Galore for her unwavering commitment, while Miss Most Improved 2024 was presented to Luscious Luna, celebrating her inspiring progress and growing confidence.

Best Solo Performance 2024 was awarded to Luna Lunacy of the Featherstone Follies, recognising an exceptional year of performance excellence.

Seven Years Strong

Seven years in, the Featherstone Follies continue to embody everything burlesque stands for: confidence, creativity, empowerment, and community. Fearless, passionate, and ever evolving, they leave their mark on every stage they grace.
