Seven Years of Tease, Talent & Fearless Expression…

Seven spectacular years of Featherstone Follies and what a journey it has been. From their earliest steps into the world of burlesque to the confident, commanding performers they are today, the Featherstone Follies have become a shining part of the Burlesque With Paris community. Known for their bold creativity, fearless performances, and unwavering support for one another, this group continues to grow in confidence, artistry, and stage presence with every passing year.

Term 5 2024 - Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps

A Year of Styles, Skills & Stunning Routines…

The Featherstone Follies have enjoyed a richly diverse and creative journey through burlesque, with each term introducing new styles, techniques, and performance challenges that have allowed the class to grow in confidence and artistry.

In 2024, Term 4, the year began with the sparkle and precision of Showgirl Burlesque as the Follies learned “Showtime Hustle.” Featuring gloves and sequin skirts, this routine embraced classic showgirl flair and polished performance.

Term 5 saw the class explore the elegance of Feather Fan Burlesque with “Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps.” Working with feather fans, the dancers refined their control, timing, and graceful tease.

Classic Burlesque took centre stage in Term 6 with “Feeling Good.” Using flowing organza boas, this routine allowed the dancers to explore drama, sensuality, and expressive movement.

For Term 7, the Featherstone Follies prepared for the Burlesque Ball with two striking routines. Feather Fan Burlesque “Dream A Little Dream,” performed with ostrich fans, showcased elegance and synchronisation, while Classic Burlesque “The Wonderful In You,” featuring bump skirts and gloves, delivered timeless glamour and theatrical flair.

The year concluded in 2024, Term 8 with festive Showgirl Burlesque “Holly Jolly Christmas,” complete with gloves and Santa hats, bringing joy, sparkle, and seasonal charm to the stage.

Moving into 2025, the Featherstone Follies embraced bold new styles. Term 1 introduced Neo Burlesque with “Do You Wanna Touch,” incorporating chairs and shirts to explore confidence, attitude, and contemporary movement. In Term 2, the class delved into Bellyesque with “Sway,” using silk fans to blend fluidity with sensual control.

Feather Fan Burlesque returned in 2025, Term 3 with “I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You.” Using ostrich fans, the dancers focused on elegance, emotional connection, and refined fan technique. The journey continued in Term 4 with Classic Burlesque “Take My Love, Take Me,” featuring feather bustles and gloves, celebrating timeless burlesque sophistication and ensemble performance.

Featherstone Follies At The Revelry of Tease – 11th May 2024…

The Featherstone Follies delivered an unforgettable showcase at The Revelry of Tease, filling the stage with bold storytelling, striking visuals, and commanding performances that celebrated the full spectrum of burlesque artistry.

Making her solo debut, Lulu Lunacy burst onto the stage with unstoppable energy to “Beer Never Broke My Heart.” Dressed in a vibrant red corset, trousers, and a dramatic black and gold boa, she blended powerful high kicks with classic bump-and-grind floorwork, captivating the audience with her confidence and infectious enthusiasm. Her whirlwind performance ended to roaring applause, marking an electric debut.

Ivy Jac transformed the stage into an enchanting, ivy-covered fantasy with her solo debut to “Love Is A Game.” Cloaked in rich shades of green, she combined intricate chair work with beautifully paced reveals, creating a performance rooted in mystery and seduction. Each movement felt deliberate and symbolic, culminating in a striking final reveal of ivy pasties that left the audience spellbound.

Elegance and restraint took centre stage with Vivienne Divine, who delivered a masterclass in tease with her chair routine to “Oops!… I Did It Again.” Draped in a long cream gown and natural stockings, her performance focused on the journey rather than the destination. With slow glove peels and graceful costume reveals, she embodied classic burlesque sophistication, enchanting the audience with her poise and control.

Closing the first half with undeniable power, Big Red commanded attention with her performance to “Chokehold.” Dressed in fishnets, towering heels, and a sleek black jacket, her chair routine fused traditional bump-and-grind technique with a modern edge. Each calculated movement and confident reveal reinforced her commanding presence, leaving the audience enthralled as she delivered a bold and empowering finale.

The evening continued with a striking solo from Bohemian Beauty, whose performance to “Girl With One Eye” was rich in atmosphere and intensity. Her black ensemble, layered with flowing fabric, framed a routine filled with intrigue and storytelling. Using a handheld fan for her final reveal, she demonstrated impeccable tease and emotional depth, holding the audience in rapt attention from start to finish.

Lulu Lunacy Solo Performance - The Revelry Of Tease - 11th May 2024

Bringing narrative and humour to the stage, Lola Sparkles enchanted the crowd with her whimsical performance to “I Should Be So Lucky.” Armed with oversized props including an inflatable love heart, picture frame, and giant phone, she told a playful tale of romance and reality. Each costume removal unfolded like a chapter in her story, culminating in a sparkling pasty reveal met with delighted applause.

Rock-and-roll energy surged through the theatre as Roxy Starr took to the stage with “Pour Some Sugar On Me.” Dressed in black lace, she fused a rock chair routine with a dramatic confetti cascade, creating a high-impact performance packed with attitude and allure. Her ability to captivate the crowd was undeniable, leaving a lasting impression long after she exited the stage.

Rounding out the Featherstone Follies’ performances, Emerald Fuego dazzled with a high-energy showgirl routine to “Confident.” Sparkling under the lights, she delivered sharp kicks, slick cane tricks, and powerful floorwork with effortless flair. Her charisma and playful connection with the audience elevated the performance, celebrating confidence, femininity, and show-stopping burlesque glamour.

Together, the Featherstone Follies brought depth, diversity, and drama to The Revelry of Tease, delivering performances that were bold, imaginative, and unforgettable, a true celebration of burlesque in all its forms.

An Evening Of Exquisite Tease At The Burlesque Ball 2024 – 9th November 2024…

The Featherstone Follies delivered an extraordinary showcase at the Burlesque Ball, filling Part 1 of the evening with confidence, creativity, and unforgettable burlesque artistry. Each performance brought something unique to the stage, creating a rich and varied celebration of tease, glamour, and storytelling.

The evening began with an electrifying duet from Cindy Galore and Divine Desire, who performed to “I See Red” by Everybody Loves An Outlaw. Draped in elegant black gowns and long satin gloves, the pair captivated the audience with their flawless synchronisation and smouldering chemistry. Their glove peels were slow and deliberate, heightening anticipation before the dramatic reveal of red babydolls and black stockings beneath their gowns. The way they moved together was both seductive and refined, drawing the audience fully into their world.

A striking group performance followed, featuring Roxy Starr, Luna Lunacy, Emerald Fuego, Emperatrix, Belladonna Storm, Ivy Jac, and Valentina Velour, who took to the stage to “The Wonderful In You” by Caro Emerald. Beginning with their backs to the audience, they moved in perfect unison, hands tracing their bodies with controlled precision. The flick of bump skirts, elegant glove removals, and eventual dramatic reveal of glittering pasties created a powerful crescendo that was met with thunderous applause.

Solo performances added depth and individuality to the evening. Coral Kisses mesmerised the audience with her sultry routine to “I Just Want To Make Love To You” by Etta James. Adorned in a black jewelled headdress, purple fur cuffs, and a striking corset, her performance was rich with seductive hip bumps, smooth bum rolls, and commanding showgirl lines that held the audience spellbound.

Bohemian Beauty followed with a sensual and playful performance to “I Touch Myself” by Divinyls. Beginning with her back to the audience and tossing white feathers into the air, she quickly ignited cheers from the crowd. Her confident hip rolls, flirtatious gestures, and skillful boa work built steadily to a tantalising reveal, drawing enthusiastic applause with every teasing movement.

Emerald Fuego Solo Performance - The Burlesque Ball - Part 1 - 9th November 2024

Bringing vibrant energy to the stage, Lola Sparkles lit up the room with her performance to “Pink” by Aerosmith. Dressed in dazzling pink hues, she teased the audience with elegant glove removals, sultry bum rolls, and playful bustle work. As rose petals cascaded across the stage during her bra removal, the performance reached its dramatic peak, earning rapturous applause and cheers.

Making her solo debut, L’ll Miss P delivered a joyful and confident performance to “Sir Duke” by Stevie Wonder. Using her brother as a playful prop seated on a chair, she combined humour, sass, and polished burlesque technique. Her jacket removal revealed a sparkling tassel bra and thong, and her final pasty reveal was met with an eruption of applause.

Ivy Jac returned with a bold and avant-garde performance to “Earl” by Coal. Beginning at a table with a chopping board, her robotic movements and innovative use of props immediately intrigued the audience. Her precise costume removals, clever chair work, and fluid floorwork showcased her creativity and control, leaving the theatre buzzing with admiration for her futuristic approach.

High-energy showmanship took centre stage as Emerald Fuego performed to “Scream” by Usher. Dressed in striking pink underwear and a shimmering sequin skirt, she delivered fast-paced choreography filled with playful hip bumps and explosive movement. Her cheeky skirt removal and confident pasty reveal brought the audience to their feet.

The Featherstone Follies also delivered a breathtaking group ostrich fan routine to “Dream A Little Dream Of Me” by Robbie Williams and Lily Allen. Shrouded behind their fans, Bohemian Beauty, Lola Sparkles, Coral Kisses, L’ll Miss P, Luscious Luna, Cindy Galore, and Divine Desire moved in flawless synchronisation. The balance between concealment and revelation created a mesmerising visual that showcased the group’s elegance and precision.

The evening concluded with unforgettable fan performances. Roxy Starr mesmerised the audience with her illuminated silk fan routine to “Wicked Game” by Raign, creating a hauntingly beautiful tableau, while Luna Lunacy delivered a bold and provocative Lady Liberty-inspired performance to “Naked In Manhattan.” Complete with dramatic reveals, confetti cannons, jaw-dropping splits, and powerful tassel work, her performance left the audience astonished and exhilarated.

Together, the Featherstone Follies brought depth, diversity, and daring to the Burlesque Ball, delivering performances that celebrated classic elegance, bold creativity, and fearless self-expression, a true highlight of the evening.

Awards, Achievements & Celebration

The year came to a celebratory close with well-earned recognition at the Class Awards 2024, honouring the dedication, growth, and commitment shown throughout the year. Miss Star of Burlesque With Paris 2024 was awarded to Lola Sparkles in recognition of her outstanding presence and continued excellence. Star of the Class 2024 was presented to L’ll Miss P, celebrating her enthusiasm, effort, and consistency within class. Miss Dedicated 2024 was awarded to Cindy Galore for her unwavering commitment and passion, while Miss Most Improved 2024 was presented to Luscious Luna, recognising her inspiring progress and growing confidence.

The year also celebrated exceptional performance on stage, with Best Solo Performance 2024 awarded to Luna Lunacy of the Featherstone Follies. Together, these awards celebrate not only performance excellence, but the courage, dedication, and personal growth that define the Burlesque With Paris community.

Seven Years Strong

The Featherstone Follies continue to embody everything burlesque stands for: confidence, creativity, empowerment, and community. Seven years in, they remain fearless, passionate, and ever-evolving, leaving their mark on every stage they grace.
