Their journey has been marked by creativity, camaraderie, and a fearless embrace of self-expression, making every class and performance a true celebration of burlesque.
Term 5 2024 - Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps
A Term-by-Term Journey of Glamour & Growth…
The Goole Goddesses have enjoyed a beautifully varied journey through burlesque, with each term introducing new styles, techniques, and performance challenges that have allowed the class to grow in confidence, creativity, and stage presence.
In 2024, Term 5, the Goddesses embraced the elegance of Feather Fan Burlesque with “Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps.” Using ostrich fans, the dancers explored graceful movement, refined timing, and classic tease, laying a strong foundation for the year.
Term 6 brought dramatic flair with Classic Burlesque “I Put A Spell On You.” Featuring boas and gloves, this routine allowed the class to delve into sensuality, character, and expressive performance.
For Term 7, the Goddesses prepared a show-stopping Burlesque Ball routine to “It Don’t Mean A Thing.” This Showgirl Burlesque number, complete with tassel dresses and gloves, radiated confidence, sass, and polished ensemble work.
Term 8 2024 - Holly Jolly Christmas
The year concluded in 2024, Term 8 with festive Showgirl Burlesque “Holly Jolly Christmas.” Wearing Christmas hats and gloves, the Goddesses brought joyful energy and seasonal sparkle to the stage.
Moving into 2025, the Goddesses continued to build on their skills and versatility. Term 1 saw a return to Feather Fan Burlesque with “I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You,” once again using ostrich fans to explore elegance and emotional connection.
In Term 2, the focus shifted to Neo Burlesque with “Do You Wanna Touch.” Incorporating chairs and shirts, this routine encouraged boldness, confidence, and contemporary attitude.
Showgirl glamour took centre stage in Term 3 with “Putting On The Ritz.” Featuring pimp sticks and trilby hats, this routine celebrated classic showgirl style with sharp choreography and playful character work.
The journey continued in Term 4 with Classic Burlesque “Take My Love, Take Me.” Using feather bustles and gloves, the Goddesses embraced timeless burlesque elegance, bringing the year to a sophisticated and theatrical close.
