“I started Burlesque when I was at an absolute low in my life. I had to close my small high street business, my dad died…it was a lot. I’m also a 45 year old mother of 3 beautiful boys under the age of 9… and my body isn’t what it once was. I needed to get moving, for me. The answer just flashed on the screen one day as I was scrolling through ‘ Burlesque with Paris’. I was scared, doubtful I could do it… worried about how I stacked up against other classmates… if they even liked me.

Paris was immediate with communication and got me enrolled into Selby Starlets… best decision ever! Paris, as an instructor, was super welcoming, never pushy for constant enrollment- it was very much see how you like it! The way she teaches classes makes learning any routine fun, easy, and a great laugh!

The girls in class could not be more lovely, encouraging, or friendly! Exactly what I needed, especially the encouraging part! Nothing about any of this has been discouraging or stressful!

Paris ensures you are prepared for performances and you’re not forced to do one, it’s at your own desire to! She’s there to help you develop your routine, every step of the way!

My first performance on stage… I won best solo performance. The show prep was amazing, as was the show!

Paris brought out a part of me that was buried… and she brought back my smile! The girls in class all brought me back to life, and if this is anything you’re considering… do it!

I’m a chunky, middle-aged mom… who despite not having the ‘ perfect’ body or face… found perfection in Burlesque with Paris, and in that started to love myself for once.”
