Goole Goddesses, Featherstone Follies, Selby Sirens, Selby Starlets, Tempt La Animal and Sinful Sorella - Our Magnificent Performers of 2019

It has been months of hard work for all of our performing stars from Goole Goddesses, Featherstone Follies, Selby Sirens and Selby Starlets and finally their student showcase show was here.

All of our amazing performers were filled will nerves, anticipation, and excitement as the function room in the Victoria Social Club, Goole filled with their family, friends and all of our Burlesque With Paris lovelies who had joined our classes but had not yet seen one of our shows.

The show was a sell-out and the room was filled with excitement. Chatter was lively and everyone was waiting eagerly to watch and support our performing Goddesses, Follies, Sirens and Starlets.

The background music was faded, it was time for our glamorous host Pinkie T’Boo to give her titillating introduction to the show. The audience chuckled as Pinkie T’Boo worked her magic whilst our performers were waiting nervously to hear their cue to step onto the stage. Then it happened the Featherstone Follies were introduced and our student showcase magnificent line up had started.

The Featherstone Follies took to the stage in their denim shorts, checked shirts, corsets and boots opening the show with fantastic style with their performance to These Boots Are Made For Walking. They started the night with a bang and came out to impress… and impress they did! The audience went wild and the room echoed with applause and cheer as the Follies danced through their routine in their sassy Follies style. They were all incredible and what a way to start our student showcase show.

Next to take to the stage was Lilly Rose in her peach coloured babydoll performing to God Is A Woman in her ballerina bump and grind style performance. She was sensational and the audience roared with applause as she danced through her routine twirling across the stage, dropping to the floor into the splits and jumping to her feet as she showed the audience how to bump and grind. What a spectacular solo performance from Lilly Rose one of Goole Goddesses lovelies.

It was then Heather Ann Lace and Atomic Velvet from Selby Sirens that took to the stage. They were dressed in their seductive black leather corsets and leather hot pants, starting with their backs to the audience with black ties wrapped around their wrists they performed to S&M. They absolutely sizzled their way through their performance throwing their ties to the side and pulling out their floggers. The room ignited with applause as they dragged the floggers across their bodies, then slamming them onto the floor, they left the audience hot under the collar waiting for the next performers to step onto the stage.

A change of pace came next with Pink Champagne, Cinnamon Satin and Havana Hepburn, a fusion group from Selby Sirens and Selby Starlets. They stepped onto the stage in their sparkling dresses, with their black boas and when the music started they ignited into their Sparkling Diamonds routine from Moulin Rouge. These fabulous ladies shone with their cheeky style showing the audience to expect the unexpected, pulling pearls from their bras, sprinkling rose petals with their glove removals and finishing their routine with ostrich fans. The room ignited with an array of applause for our sparkling trio performers.

Next to take to the stage was Phoenix Flame from Goole Goddesses with her comedy act performance to Cleaning Windows. She entertained the audience with her thrilling routine with a variety of props, full of the unexpected starting fully covered in her brown overalls working her way down to nothing more than bloomers and tassels, after removing her stockings and a little flash of her bottom… A magnificent performance from our beautiful redhead Phoenix Flame, it was her second solo performance and the audience was thrilled, the room ignited full of applause and cheer and she left the audience full of excitement ready for our next performer to take to the stage.

Tempt L’Animal was next to perform with her bump and grind performance to Wanna Be. The Queen of Sinful Sorella and one of Paris Chantilly’s closest friends, she stepped onto the stage dressed in her red underwear with black fishnet tights and see-through black lace gown. She wowed the audience as she danced through her routine peeling off her gown revealing her luscious red lingerie as she dropped to the floor with her sensational floor work. I think a cold shower would have come in handy for some of our audience as she had their blood pumping with every movement she made. Finishing in sparkling pasties the room ignited with an almighty applause.

It was then Coral Kisses who took to the stage from Featherstone Follies performing to Patricia The Stripper. It was her first solo performance and she stepped on the stage well and truly in the spirit of all things glamorous, dressed in her burlesque finery she looked incredible. When the music started she was in full swing with her black boa she danced through her performance throwing her boa to the floor to then removing her hat, gloves, and dress to reveal her black patterned body and tights. She seduced the audience with her alluring movements and facial expressions from start to finish and that was it… the room echoed with applause and cheer for our sassy Coral Kisses who had magnificently performed her first solo spectacular performance.

It was then time for a short interval to give the audience a chance to catch their breath and refill their glasses. The atmosphere was incredible as everyone was left full of excitement from the first half of the show. It didn’t take long for everyone to return to their seats ready for the second half of the show to begin.

First to take to the stage was Grandma Licious from Selby Starlets. She performed a reinvented act from last year’s student showcase and had completely transformed it, using 2 separate pieces of music and mixing them together she performed Grandma We Love You / Man I Feel Like A Woman. She started her performance in the audience handing sweets out as she made her way to the stage. Walking with her rhinestone walking stick and pulling her little trolley behind her as she walked across the stage the music changed and so did Grandma Licious. The walking stick was gone, the audience cheered so loud as she removed her blue old ladies vintage dress to reveal her corset, ruffle shorts and stockings. She danced through her routine removing her glasses, plastic hair cover, wig, then off came the corset and bra and she finished in tassels. The room ignited and she was a hit a spectacular second solo performance from Grandma Licious and the second half of the show was now in full swing.

Next to take to the stage was Scarlett Valentine performing to Cruella Deville she walked on stage in her Cruella Deville wig, cream fur coat, and killer heels and was straight into her performance. Removing her coat to reveal a black sparkly dress then dancing with her red boa, next the dress was off and she revealed her red ruffle shorts, corset, bra, and stockings. She tormented the audience as she danced through her performance to reveal her pasties to finish. The room ignited with an array of applause for Scarlett Valentine from Selby Starlets, it was her sixth solo performance and she left the audience intrigued and excited for the next performance.

Temptress La Animal was then back on stage with her troupe Sinful Sorella performing to Cell Block Tango. Dressed in their seductive lady killer costumes, lip sinking and dancing throughout their routine, using props to emphasize the importance of their lip sinking parts they put on a show stopper of a performance which entertained and thrilled the audience. They received an almighty applause and the audience was left wanting more…

Next to take to the stage was Roxie Rocket a little firecracker from Featherstone Follies performing to Roxie, dressed in a beautiful sparkly shimmy dress she looked a million dollars. She danced through her performance in her own stylish sassy way wowing the audience with every movement and step throughout her routine, flicking her hair, dropping to the floor incorporating her floor work into her routine which was so precisely done and looked exquisite. Her leg lines were beautiful and she finished with an array of applause from the audience, her second solo performance and what an incredible performance it was.

It was then Pixie Bella from Selby Starlets turn to take to the stage performing to Crazy a twisted routine and in character of the Joker and Harley Quinn she took to the stage in her green wig, purple lace gown and her pimp stick for a prop and started her performance on the floor in the middle of the stage. Her characterization was sublime and she intrigued the audience throughout her routine as she performed across the stage. Throwing her prop to the side and removing her purple gown to reveal her leather corset and stockings. She carried on with her removal in her performance removing her corset and bra finishing in tassels and leaving the audience totally dazzled with her extraordinary performance and the room came to life with an almighty applause. It was Pixie Bella’s third solo performance and she was divine.

Paris Chantilly then stepped onto the stage for the final performance of the night, performing her Love Me routine to Love Me Like You Do for all of her ladies who had not yet seen it but had heard about it and requested to see it. She stepped onto the stage in her heavily jeweled and beaded costume, twirling skirt, isis wings, fur cuffs, and gown. She removed all of her clothing piece by piece tormenting the audience with each piece before throwing it to the side, first, it was the gown, then the isis wings, then the twirling with her skirt before ripping off her skirt panels to then playing with her fur cuffs running them across her body. It was then the beautiful beige peacock feather fans she pulled out and danced across the stage fan dancing with all of her magnificent fan movements before removing her heavily jeweled and beaded top to reveal her pasties and finish in the tall peacock pose. The room came to life and there was an array of applause and cheer, everyone had now seen their instructor, showgirl, burly mama perform to one of her favourite and most well-known routines.

The show had finished and everyone was smiling and full of excitement. It was a complete success and what a magnificent show it had been. It was full of variety and the unexpected, everything a burlesque should be and to see all the classes come together to support each other and create such a spectacular night was an incredible feeling.

Can’t wait for the next show with you all next year, it is going to be a sensational show.

My ladies from my Goole Goddesses, Featherstone Follies, Selby Sirens and Selby Starlets you really do make me so proud and you were all bloody amazing, to see you up on that stage is one of the best things I love about what I do and to see how far you have come since the day you stepped into class is incredible. Never stop being your own kind of beautiful as I love each and every one of you for the different styles and variety that you bring with you.
