It’s been 2 years since Hull Honeys Opened and another sensational year filled with spectacular ladies and fabulous fun burlesque routines.
The ladies in this class are incredible and it’s so lovely to see you all happy and smiling and striving to show the world what incredible individuals you all are!
We had our Annual Show which was on the 9th of November 2019 at Drax Social Club. All of our Heavenly Honeys took to the stage to perform their class routine Feeling Good. Not only did they perform, but they all also went down to pasties and won the class group performance award. I have to say their Feeling Good routine was floorless and they all looked the part in all their burlesque finery.
The Annual Show was the Greatest Show we have done so far with 240 guests in the audience who said it was an incredible show to watch.

They have all really enjoyed all the routines they have learned and loved dancing with all the different props that they have danced with. So far they have learned:

We have had the pleasure of welcoming our first male into the class Sir Loin who has fitted in very well amongst the Honeys. He has even managed to bring out the flirtatious side of some of Honeys which has added to the fun we have in class.
They have all been working really hard on their routine for our Student Showcase show which has sadly been postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. I know they will be full of excitement when it’s time to start working on their routine again ready for when we can reorganize our Student Showcase Show. It’s going to be a spectacular evening for everyone to look forward to.
Sadly the Honeys class had to close down on the 5th of March which was when the whole of the UK was getting ready to go into lockdown and preparing to stay at home to keep safe.
During the lockdown, some of our Heavenly Honeys joined the Zoomets online dance class which started on the 4th of May. It was a fabulous mixture of ladies from all of my classes including 4 of my Heavenly Honeys.
Our Monday evenings were the highlight of all of our weeks with fitbit’s vibrating and the creativity of props to use to dance with was extraordinary. They have learned:
That Man - Trilby Hats, Wedding Hats, Straw Hats, and Baseball Caps
S&M - Floggers (Handmade & Bought) and Tea Towels
Candyman - Dancing Cane, Hoover Pipe, Metre Wooden Ruler, and Garden Cane.
Some of our Heavenly Honeys took part in our Quarantease Lounge Shows which we have hosted during the lockdown. We had 4 solo performers from the Hull Honeys class who entertained our viewers live from their very own living rooms. They were spectacular shows and everyone did so well taking part in them and adapting to the new show life of Quarantease Lounge and Burlesque Shows.

We managed to reopen our Hull Honeys class again on 6th August and it has been so lovely for us all to be together again and dancing in class again. We have had the pleasure of welcoming new ladies into the class and now have the excitement of starting a whole new year full of fabulous fun routines and making lots of magical memories along the way.

For anyone who is wanting to come and join the Hull Honeys class unfortunately the class numbers are at the maximum capacity and we are unable to have any more ladies join us. We are going to be opening a second class in Hull tho and are starting the Hull Harmonys class on the 10th of September which I am sure is going to be full of beautiful ladies who will have as much fun as we have in the Hull Honeys class.
