Three cheers for the Hull Harlots as they celebrate their third anniversary with Burlesque With Paris.

From their early beginnings, this dynamic group has grown not only in numbers but in confidence, connection, and performance quality. Over the past three years, the Hull Harlots have become a vibrant and valued part of the Burlesque With Paris community, captivating audiences with their charm, elegance, and expressive artistry.

Guided by Paris Chantilly, the Hull Harlots have embraced the spirit of burlesque, blending classic elements of tease and spectacle with modern flair. Their journey has been one of growth, exploration, and empowerment, and this third year has been filled with creativity, dedication, and unforgettable performances.

A Year of Expression, Style and Stage Presence

The Hull Harlots enjoyed another exciting and creatively rich year, with each term introducing new routines, props, and styles that encouraged confidence, versatility, and strong stage presence.

Term One opened the year with Love For Sale, featuring the graceful use of umbrellas. This routine set a sophisticated tone, allowing the Hull Harlots to explore elegance, control, and classic burlesque tease.

Term Two brought playful energy with Come Together. Using shirts and ties, the dancers embraced character, musicality, and cheeky charm, creating a routine that was both stylish and engaging.

Term Three shifted into classic burlesque territory with Feeling Good. Featuring boas, this routine allowed the Hull Harlots to lean into flirtation, confidence, and expressive performance, bringing timeless burlesque energy to the studio.

Term Four delivered sparkle and showgirl glamour with Showtime Hustle. Sequinned skirts and gloves added visual impact as the dancers embraced polished movement, confidence, and stage ready presence.

Term Five transported the class into a vintage world with All That Jazz. Trilby hats and fringe skirts created a roaring twenties feel, allowing the Hull Harlots to explore character, rhythm, and theatrical flair.

Term Six celebrated elegance and versatility with Putting On The Ritz. Featuring pimp sticks and trilby hats, this routine highlighted strong technique, sharp styling, and classic showgirl sophistication.

Term Seven was packed with standout moments. The Do You Wanna Touch show routine introduced bold chair and shirt choreography and went on to win Best Class Performance of the Evening at the Burlesque Ball. Later in the term, Viva Las Vegas dazzled with gloves and sparkly dresses, delivering show-stopping energy and confident performance.

Term Eight closed the year on a festive note with Holly Jolly Christmas. Featuring gloves and Santa hats, this routine brought playful seasonal cheer and joyful energy, rounding off the year in true Hull Harlots style.

Each term allowed the Hull Harlots to explore new themes, props, and movement styles, while continuing to develop their confidence and performance skills. Their commitment and enthusiasm shone through every routine, making this year a true celebration of growth and artistry.

A Night to Remember at The Revelry Of Tease

11th May 2024

The Revelry of Tease at Doncaster Little Theatre on the 11th of May was an unforgettable evening celebrating talent and creativity across the Burlesque With Paris community.

Amethyst Passion opened the show with a stunning silk fan performance to Love On The Brain, captivating the audience with grace and precision. Sugarboo followed with a powerful and patriotic performance blending The British Grenadiers and Salute, delivering strong character and commanding presence.

Violet Grace and Scarlett Vixen brought joyful energy to the stage with Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows, while Fifi Whispers mesmerised the audience with her sultry rendition of Kiss. Ruby Starr continued the magic with a captivating performance filled with confidence and magnetic stage presence.

Each act throughout the evening showcased the diversity, artistry, and passion within the Burlesque With Paris world. The Revelry of Tease was a celebration of both individual talent and collective creativity, blending classic burlesque charm with contemporary flair.

Hull Harlots Take Centre Stage at the Burlesque Ball

The Burlesque With Paris Burlesque Ball Part One at Doncaster Little Theatre was a night filled with elegance, glamour, and unforgettable performances.

The Hull Harlots delivered two sensational class routines to Viva Las Vegas and Do You Wanna Touch, the latter earning Best Class Performance of the Evening. Both routines showcased confidence, cohesion, and commanding stage presence.

The evening also featured an incredible lineup of solo and double performances. Fifi Whispers charmed the audience with The Stripper by David Rose, while Honey Rouge captivated with a high-energy Madonna mash-up. Cherry Daiquiri and Sugarboo delivered a thought-provoking and artistically compelling performance to Another Brick In The Wall.

Ruby Starr brought power and emotion with Been Like This. Violet Grace added whimsy with The Pop Up Song, while Lady Venus commanded the stage with Stop. Amethyst Passion delivered elegance and poise with Just One Dance.

Bongilicious wowed the audience with a dynamic performance to Private Dancer, capturing the spirit and energy of Tina Turner. Scarlett Vixen closed her moment on stage with a dramatic and captivating rendition of Trouble.

Each performer brought individuality and passion to the stage, making Burlesque Ball Part One a true celebration of burlesque artistry and talent.

Celebrating Dedication and Growth

The Hull Harlots Class Awards 2024 celebrated commitment, progress, and standout performances within the class.

Violet Grace was awarded Star of the Class for her consistency, confidence, and strong stage presence. Bongilicious received Miss Dedicated in recognition of her unwavering commitment and enthusiasm. Sapphire Rose was awarded Miss Most Improved, celebrating her inspiring journey and growth as a performer.

These awards reflect not only individual achievement but the supportive and empowering environment that defines the Hull Harlots.
